Helavo All Terrain Walker, 12" Pneumatic Tires, Outdoor Rollator Walker

Finally a wheeler that he can go places with! He loves it! It gives him way more independence than the cheesy rollater Medicare sent him( expensive, not worth it) Its designed for tall people and does what it sais it will do! My only complaint is it still is pretty big when folded, and its heavy, but I digress, we sacrifice for the other benefits! Well made, nice color, easy to put together, and shipped fast. Great price point, also! I ordered it with the hard tires but was sent actual tires with tubes...turns out he's happier with them as he gets more traction and it drives smoother.

Was delivered today and my mom is going to L-O-V-E it! My mom is 95 y/o - and she will not be able to lift this in and out of the trunk of her car, so she will need assistance. My husband did the assembly and it was very easy to follow w/ instructions and visual watching the video. I ordered the gold tone because -everyone seems to have either a black or a red rollator walker. Figured this color would be easier to quickly identify in the airport or if it happens to be parked outside in public places among other walkers. The body is sturdy and the materials are smooth and sleek. The fabric is thick well stitched and heavily reinforced throughout. The handles are substantial and very comfortable to grip with a very simple break/lock mechanism located directly underneath the handles. THE WHEELS... are very well made with actual grooved treads with the front tires requiring air to inflate. It's smooth to push and it glides and turns well. However, you do need to guide it -point it- it where you want to go. The wheels roll easily and pivot well. There's a step/riser on both rear tires to allow raising of the front wheels to accommodate curbs and thicker thresholds. The cup holder is quite conveniently places on the right side and the front storage bag is very generous and allows for many items to be placed inside and properly secured with thick velcro. The seat is ample size and the back cushion strap has a nice curve in it to hug the back. For the price, this brand and model CANNOT be beat - and it's well worth the price point. It easily collapses and folds too. Just a simple pull of the strap on the seat and the folding mechanism begins and is complete when you clasp both handles together. The cane holder is another nice feature however, it's not going to work for my mom because she uses a 4 prong walking cane - but her cane does collapse, so we shall see. All in all, we are pleased. I do wished it had an optional plastic bag that I can use at the airport for TSA, but that's not a deal breaker for me.

I absolutely love this walker! It rolls along smoothly and there is plenty of room for FULL STRIDES. I am 70 years old and 5 years post major stroke. i have tried a lot of styles and brands of walkers and I am happy to say this a JOY I currently own 4 or 5 kinds , all different brands and styles including those that convert to chairs, some with umbrellas and 2 "upright" styles with arm rests at shoulder height. I don't have room inmy house to use a walker iinside and this has awide foot print somaynot be ideal in the house but I use a walker regularly on city side walks. ***Walker performance is a quality of life issue* *** With this Helavo I am very happy because it is very freeing to be able to take full strides!! I can swing my legs out unabashedly! when I walk!!!!!!! I am so sick of scoottng along huddled over and occasonally struggling to get a wheel over a twig or out of a crack in the sidewalk! the pnuematic tires are excellent on old sidewalks and roll lightly and smoothly over grassy areas at the local park. I find it very handy to be able to just roll the walker off the sidewalk onto the grassy parking strip to make room for strollers and dog walkersfto pass. It feels so good!!! This is very well made and thoughtfully designed but I DO have a few issues : #1 wheels!!!! are made so you have to buy from this same brand to replace them #2a. ALL Terrain??? nope!! apparently where this is made "all terrain" does not include sand #3. forget about buying a big fat set of sand tires y(this brand does not even make sand tires!!!!!! You will not be strolling on any beaches with this walker!!" #4. the valve stems points in toward the axle ***stupid iand highly rresponsible hub design. They could easily supply innertubes with valve stems that bend so there is clearance to add air.....I am dumbfounded that this wonderful walker has so many issues involving tires!!!I ***channel lock pliers are helpfulfor reaching and holding valve stems ***valve stem extenders with 6"-8" rubber hoses help to fill the rear wheels. End of the day it takes some thought to fill the rearbtires but this is solid good quality construction with strong durable materials that are well made and well designed. Highly recommend. you will look forward to the freedomof using this on city sidewalks and prkpaths. I look forward to taking it out and about eery morning.

Perfect for what I wanted, it's not to heavy to pick up and put in the truck,it's easy to fold. and let me tell you I can walk all over the yard, over roots and little dips that you might have,it's very sturdy. When I need to take a break I can and it's pretty comfortable, the seat size is very nice and having something to lean back on is great.

Bought this for someone who had open heart surgery and needed a walker that was sturdy, portable and could handle outdoor walks - even on paths. This came highly recommended and it did not disappoint. It is easy to fold up and has a bag you can use to carry items. It is a bit awkward to put into the back of my RAV4 as it is a bit heavy. This walker provides good stability and while pricier than some others, it is well made and worth the cost.

I bought this for my 84-year-old mom. She told me she wanted a walker that would allow her to still go outside and feed her animals, chicken, birds, etc, on the muddy terrain, bumps, hills, dips, all over her backyard. I bought this one from the reviews of others that said they bought it so they could still go in nature. All of that is so true and more! It can take so much abuse and just keep going. I attached a pic of it literally in the mud. The tires grip, she always feels sturdy, and it’s so easy to maneuver, that even being very weak, she can still push it around and through mud and bumps. I cannot fully explain how important this walker has been. The outside and nature are her healing and her happiness. When we didn’t have this walker, she couldn’t go outside and do all the things she loves. This walker saved her. She maintains her independence with the animals she loves and in nature, rain or shine. Thank you to the compnay who make this walker. You literally have made her life better because of this walker. To anyone thinking of buying it for themselves or their loved one, do it. It’s light, so easy to maneuver, can handle the weather, doesn’t rust, leather is hearty and can handle mud and dirt and life. The seat function is so great so that when she gets tired, she can just sit and still be outside in nature. She said the back height is perfect and it doesn’t cut into her anywhere as she has fragile skin, so that’s a big deal a for her to be able to lean back and relax without pain. A+++ to everything about this. Also, super easy to put together. Love this walker!!

This walker is a game changer. It rolls smoothly on pavement gravel and park grass. It has the pneumatic tires so rolls easily. Able to fold and lift it into the back of my SUV with some effort but very doable. So glad I bought it!

Had a couple of problems. First: One of the tires was about 1/4 inch out of round when fully inflated and caught on the brake pad as it turned This was quickly remedied by removing the wheel and filing the pad down a bit. Second, and for me the more serious: The brake cables are way too long and snagged on anything that got near them either when loading it into my truck back seat or trying to get around in the garden.. It took quite a bit of time to remove the brake/handgrip assembly and coax it around the frame so the cable was out of the way and didn't bind. Much better now. A full star knocked off for the small, hard to get to, tote bag. Lightweight storage at best.

Ich spare nicht mit Sternchen, denn ich bin mit dem Rollator HELAVO zufrieden bis glücklich. Bei meiner Suche wurde ich zunächst durch ein Angebot von hundert Modellen verunsichert. Aber ich suchte etwas Geländegängiges, am besten mit luftgefüllten Reifen, und da wurde es schnell übersichtlicher. Ich brauche einen Rollator aus zwei Gründen: mein Gleichgewichtssinn lässt nach, und ich komme (88-jährig) beim Laufen zuweilen außer Atem und setze mich dann gern. Die Beine machen dagegen noch gut mit. Der HELAVO kommt weitgehend vormontiert in einer Schachtel. Der Zusammenbau ohne Werkzeug (6 Flügelschrauben) war mit der ausführlichen Beschreibung schnell erledigt. Offenbar sind (für den Fall eines Falles) auch Ersatzteile zu bekommen. Die Roll-Eigenschaften finde ich gut. Die lenkbaren Vorderräder laufen ruhig und spurtreu. (Lasse ich das Gerät bergauf 5 Meter voraus eilen, so kommt es exakt zurück.) Die feststellbare Handbremse wirkt auf die Reifen der kleinen Hinterräder und ist für Stillstand gedacht; in Fahrt würden die Räder blockieren (zum Glück nicht die Vorderräder). Die Beinfreiheit ist gut, man könnte sehr aufrecht gehen, dann aber halt mit weniger Unterstützung. Der Sitz ist bequem, die Lehne ist "atmungsaktiv", was sich im Sommer bewähren dürfte. Die einhängbare Tasche lasse ich meist weg. (Für Einkäufe nehme ich das E-Trike mit Anhänger.) Der HELAVO ist solide gebaut. Er hat ein stattliches Gewicht von 9,5 kg. Über drei Treppenstufen kann ich ihn hinwegheben, ansonsten sind Treppen zu meiden. Einen Bordstein schafft man mit Hilfe des kleinen Fußtritts mühelos. (Ohne wär's mühsam.) Es ist erstaunlich, wie leicht der Rollator bergauf rollt. Bergab will er gut festgehalten werden. Praktisch, wenn man bei Gegenverkehr mit einem Griff den Rollator auf halbe Breite schrumpfen lassen kann. Mit einem beidhändigen Druck auf den Sitz schnappt die volle Breite von 66 cm wieder ein. Die Reifen kamen richtig aufgepumpt, da war nichts zu tun. (Mit den Schrader-Ventilen käme ich schon zurecht.) Den Druck werde ich im Auge behalten. Zu hart wäre unangenehm, zu weich schlecht für die Bremsen. Wie gesagt, das Angebot ist riesig und der passende Rollator sorgfältig zu wählen. Der HELAVO ist für die Wohnung zu klobig, zum Reisen zu schwer. Für Leute wie mich ist er genau richtig. Er fährt mühelos "über Stock und Stein". Ich würde ihn sogar ohne Skrupel zur einstündigen Bahnfahrt nach München mitnehmen. Erfahrung nach 1/4 Jahr: Die Vorderräder sollen so leicht lenken, dass sie die Kurven freiwillig mitmachen, aber auch nicht so locker sein, dass sie zu zum seitlich Schwingen neigen, was nach etlichen Wochen der Fall sein kann und schlimmstenfalls den Piloten ins Stolpern bringt. Sodann ist es ratsam, die für das Lenken zuständigen beiden Schraubenmuttern zu justieren. Im Bild sind zwei geeignete Werkzeuge zu sehen.

Super facile a monter... de très bonnes qualité, l'acier est costaud et rolateur facile d'emploi super pratique car transportable en voiture... maman ne tombe plus .... un vrai 4/4 un tout terrain !!!!

Muy robusto y cómodo. Tuve dudas porque hay muchos comentarios con la opinión de que el asiento es alto; mido 1,65m y para mi es perfecto. Supongo que depende de la dificultad de movilidad de cada uno. Tengo poca fuerza en las piernas y si fuera más bajo me costaría bastante levantarme. Y si quiero sentarme un rato, en vez de dejar los pies colgando, los apoyo en las ruedas y estoy muy cómoda. Montaje muy fácil; lo monté yo sola en poco tiempo a pesar de tener poca fuerza en las manos. Tengo sarcopenia y fibromialgia. No tengo mucha fuerza en hombros y brazos y a veces me cuesta un poco algún giro pero no creo que me fuera mejor con otros andadores. El bolso es suficientemente grande, muy útil y no molesta en absoluto. Estoy satisfecha con la compra, me garantiza seguridad en toda la movilidad que mi cuerpo me permite. Lo recomiendo.
