This shoes are not going to be durable I can tell but they are comfortable well made and look good you get what you pay for. However I’m a keen brand user and the last 2 pairs of keen hiking boots I bought for over $100 felt apart in the first 6 months so I figure if I get 2 of this wonderful boots and last me over a year each I will be coming ahead. I don’t do any labor intense just yard work and mornings walks. I will recommend and buy again.

I love this boots and I just have another two more orders. It’s very comfortable to wear in my work place. Good to walk in snow also..

This is a follow up to my original 2 star, Jury out review. I redid boot laces & purchased better quality socks. Blister issue is resolved & I no longer feel that area rubbing. The issue I had with my Achilles hurting when I first started wearing these boots is being treated with stretching & ice. I now believe that issue is not related to these boots. I believe these boots needed a short break in period, as they seem to have stretched to a better fit. In hindsight, I should have ordered size 10.5, not size 10. These boots are incredibly light & breathable. Especially patrolling in the Florida summer heat. Short break in is required. But now they are very comfortable. Glad I stuck with them. Also, company contacted me regarding the issues I addressed in my original review. So they definitely back up their product. One month of use, no signs of boots breaking down. I am curious about the durability. The UA boots these replaced began separating between the toe & sole at about 7 months. If I get 5-6 months out of these, at half the price, it’s a win ! I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because of no side zipper. But at less than half the price of UA & Bates Tactical Boots, these are a great deal.

I'm an old soldier and was skeptical of this product but they looked good and were cheap so I decided to give them a try. WOW! These are not some cheap "walmart" shoe dressed up like a combat boot... these are REAL BOOTS! PROS: -Strong leather, good stitching -The tounge is stitched up high; on the range all day in sand & desert and nothing got in boot -Laces up like a real combat boot, high quality eyelets. -Lightest combat boot EVER! -Looks. It wears like a $200 boot CONS: -ZERO arch support. The footbeed is just soft foam. I replaced it with a quality footed and it's awesome now! -Sole. Good traction and comfortable but very light, soft material. You wouldn't want to step on a nail in these. -Break in time. Like all combat boots, these had a little break in time. I had heel slip the first time I wore them but the new footbeds and a little adjustment on the laces fixed the problem. Overall, FANTASTIC boot at a great price.

I purchased these boots because I wanted a pair of more lightweight and cooler wearing shoes than my other regular hiking boots (Merrell & Hi-Tec mid-tops). I wanted to use these while riding my motorcycle and doing some exploring this summer in the southern Arizona deserts (and yes, I live here & know the heat). I ended up returning these, but here are the pros and cons as I saw them: Pros: - Look nice. - Are lightweight. - The length fit true to size and was fine. Cons: - While the length was good, the rest of the boot was incredibly loose on my feet. It was as though they used the same last for the padded and unpadded versions of these boots, instead of reducing the size of the unpadded ones to accommodate for the volume of the missing padding. I added two additional insoles which sort of filled up the boot and kept my feet from floating around in there, but that still left an oversized shaft from the ankle up with no way to correct that. I could have tried using really thick socks, but that would have defeated the purpose of buying a lightweight, cool boot in the first place. The only other solution was to tighten the laces as much as possible, but even with the two sides drawn tight across the tongue and touching, my leg was still a bit loose in the shaft and would probably have led to discomfort after even short walks. - The boots were supposed to be breathable, but while unlined with padding they did have a sort of rubberized coating on the inside so I don't think they would breathe that well. I think the "thin fabric" unlined boot is a great idea, but I just don't think it was executed very well in this instance. In the end I decided to go with a different lightweight "tactical" boot.

My husband loves these! He runs in them too. Very comfortable and fit perfect. Would recommend them to any outdoorsman. Very functional. Keeps his feet dry and warm in cold weather. They look great and feel like they will last for a long time. I’m actually thinking of purchasing them in another color.

Purchased these on a whim because the price was right. I’m very pleased with them. They are as comfortable as sneakers and almost as light. I plan on purchasing another pair when these wear out.

I’m a FedEx driver and over the past four years I’ve completely destroyed around 5 or 6 pairs of free solder boots. I wish they were a little more durable. But they’re also more comfortable compared to most other boots so I’ll keep sticking with them

Une des meilleurs botte ever que mon mari a utiliser à vie. Il travaille en paysagement donc des bottes il en achète habituellement 3-4 par année car malgré en payer a presque $200 la paire elle ne dure pas plus que 3 mois !!! Mais celle-ci nous épate car en plus d'être stylish elle sont confo et durable. C'est certain que nous allons en racheter une autre pair dans le future!!

size runs a little bigger, and insoles are garbage. so add to the price, otherwise boots are good.
