I like the simplicity of this. Just does what is needed. Bit awkward to fit strings to hold it, but they definitely keep it in place. It is very soft and flexible, you can't feel it when lying on it. We put it on about 20 min before getting in then turn it off shortly after.

I brought two, 1 broke so I order a replacement through amazon and that one also broke (changed the fuse and everything). Then the 2nd one I originally brought too broke (all in 24hrs) so that was 3 heated blankets that stopped working in less than 24hrs. Two of them only worked for 1 to 2 hours at best, and the 3rd at best a day! Pathetic - these are definitely defects and shouldn't be sold, they don't heat up either, heat setting was put (top heat) and after an hour or two they were still luke warm at best. I contacted Morphy Richards (a well no seller with good reputation) Friday - today is Tuesday and I've still had no response.Honestly don't bother your wasting your time and money, pay a few extra pound more and get one that will last. Amazon are refunding me for these but they want the old broken ones back 1st which is fine - but I have covid, originally what I brought them for, I am now waiting on collection - then it's 5-7 working days after they receive them until I get my money back so I can go ahead and buy others to keep warm, we have no heating here.Edit: my returns have now got lost, only one has been scanned in transit - amazon say they'll refund me when they receive the lost items and they've scanned them - OMG!I've since brought another electric blanket, different make but same end connector that has also broke, I've just recieved (yet again) a replacemt for this one also - so we'll see, we're on 12 hours and it's still warm up to now.Careful of the connectors that go into the blanket as these seem flimsy and definitely faulty.

The blanket is a bit skimpy for a double bed.

Bought the variant for single bed. While it is not a full coverage, perhaps only covers 2/3 of a single bed, it is decent enough for providing warmth to the body and legs. Warms up slowly though, advisable to switch it on 15-20 mins before and getting into bed.

We were fairly satisfied with the blanket, the heat output being satisfactory. However, we couldn't seem to stop it moving across the bed and we had to reposition it several times. Sadly, it stopped working after only four months. I got no response from the seller despite an email, trying to phone them and via Amazon. As a result, Amazon asked me to send it back to them and said they'd refund me once they'd received it. We've always been happy with Morphy Richard products and it came as a surprise when this blanket failed so quickly. I'm just glad that I purchased it through Amazon: their customer care has always been excellent.

Love this heated under blanket. You cant feel it is under your sheet and get warm very quickly so it doesnt need to be on for a long time. I always suffer with cold feet and if my feet are cold i cant sleep but this product gives you extra foot heat and is the first part to heat up. Wouldnt buy anything else now.

For my daughter's bed during her Christmas student stay with family. Unless you want anything clever-clogs, this is brilliant and half the price of anything else on the market. Not the fastest but got roasting after an hour on max! Just three heat settings and off. Like a straightforward electric blanket should be - and - the price is amazing but you can't get it from many places. Mind you, the Dreamland my wife wanted is even better - for six times the price!!!
