Zoot Men's M Ultra Kalani 2.0-M

This is my 2nd pair of these shoes. This Zoot shoe is designed to be worn without socks. I also own the  The Vibram Fivefinger KomodoSport LS  but feel a little too self-conscious to wear them out while grocery shopping, etc. So, I was looking for something that felt more natural than a standard running shoe, but could pass without stares, etc.The Zoot running shoe is now my favorite non-work shoe because:- Very comfortable- Offers a little more support than a "5 finger" shoe, but not too much.- Looks like normal running shoe.- Very flexible - this allows it to fit both wide and narrow feet. My feet are narrow, and I like how I can get a snug fit, simply by tying the shoes tighter. (There is nothing more annoying than having your feet feel like they are moving inside the shoes.)The only negative is that they aren't terribly durable. Granted I'm a big guy, but compared to other shoes for around the same price they haven't held that well. But, because of the positives listed above, I was happy to purchase another pair.

This my second pair of Zoots, and by far my favorite.Likes: Fit. I normally wear a size 10, so I ordered a 10, and it fit perfectly. The shoe is snug on ankle and midsole with a little room at the toe which I really prefer.Lightweight. It's super light! Most of the time I don't even notice their on.Material. Often I run through a puddle or stream and the shoes breathe and dry amazing fast. So fast on a hot day my socks are normally dry after a long run.Dislikes: breaking them in. After the first pair of Zoots, I knew the fist few runs we're going to be tough because the shoes are snug around the ankle/ Achilles and tend to leave blisters... But after the calluses build up, the shoes are perfect.

I'm not a triathlete so this review isn't about race performance. These are my second pair of zoots, still have my ultra tt 6.0's that I bought last year. I use them as comfy shoes, imagine a great pair of socks with a grippy sole and a carbon fiber shank. Awesome shoes, I don't run but I bet they are awesome running. Buy a half size larger as they are meant to be worn sans socks.

the shoe is comfortable , however there is no opening or tongue as with traditional shoes, they slip on like lake shoes and if you have a high instep they will be very tight.

Had to return them, too small. I usually wear a 12, in this brand I would need a 13.

Good price,good fit,good look. We'll see how they hold up.

Not for long distance, for the rest pretty good

I just got the shoes today, wore them to go eat and got back to my room and noticed the tread on the bottom was already falling off very poor. Not happy at all.
