Hotpoint HAG60K Cooker Freestanding Gas Double Oven Black

I made a mistake and read the destructions wrongly and ordered the 600mm rather than 500mm but after a little bit of jiggery pokery managed to fit it into my kitchen without too much hassle and I am so pleased I made the mistake. The ovens both work well, and the top oven is especially useful being single and often only cooking for myself. The unit looks good and is very efficient. Shame the hose is a tad too short, but good value for money.

Unfortunately, this whole purchase is one bad experience. Hope things are going to work out eventually? Firstly, cooker was delivered and not connected. It was sitting in the lounge for a week. Had to pay £70 for disconnection of old cooker and connection of new. Tech arrived a week later and started the cooker. After first use of main oven, which was on the 2nd day after installation, the oven light remained on and would not turn off. Switched off the stove completely and restarted and still the light stays on. So 5 days now and the oven lights stays on until tech support will arrive in 4 days time. Like I said at the start I am hopeful that this bad experience will be turned around and stay on

The cooker looks smart and cooks evenly the variable grill is really useful

Excellent cooker. Didn't give it 5 * because the writing is under the control knobs. You have to bend down to see which burner to use. In my opinion the designers of this model could have put the wording across the top of the control knobs, as there is space to do so. Also the ignition button is in the wrong place this could have been placed more to right near the timer display and not hiding under the first control knob. Only had this a few weeks and has worked perfectly.

Thought I was buying a duel fuel cooker as in gas hob and conventional oven but still I made an excellent choice

the product could have been designed better as the symbols are below the dials so you have to bend to see what is what, they would of been a lot better had they of been obove the dials to prevent so much bending. the ovens are also different sizes as advertised, they are actually 32L and 77L not 35L and 65L
