Great replacement for our Hotpoint oven bulb which failed after 5 years.Straight forward to fit and the oven is just as bright as it used to be.Good price and also means I have a spare for another day if I should need it.

Good value, trusted brand and a long lasting bulb
Our oven has been in the dark lately, impossible to check how things are cooking without opening the oven door. The problem doing that is you quickly lose heat that can be detrimental to baking.For any sort of oven that can reach over 220 degrees C it is essential to use a proper high temperature rated bulb. It is therefore reassuring these Philips bulbs are rated at above 300 degrees C. The bulb is an E14 screw fitting (14mm diameter) and is rated at 25W (240V). Light output is warm white, 172 lumens.A trusted brand and brilliant value for 3 individually boxed bulbs. For our oven it was very easy to replace the burnt bulb, just unscrew a thick glass lens from the inside rear then unscrew the old bulb. Inserting the new bulb was a reverse of the same procedure.The previous same brand bulb lasted about 3 years. As always in high temperature applications, it's a good idea to first clean the glass of the new bulb with a bit of Isopropyl alcohol and then use some kitchen towel to insert it so as not to touch the glass. This prevents any oils from your fingers heating up on the bulb glass surface and possibly leading to premature failure.

Easy to fit.
Great bulbs, nice and bright and easy to put in the oven, although as I can not kneel I had to get someone to fit it for me. It only took about five minutes to do. Quick delivery and they come in a pack of 3.

The bulbs are an ideal replacement for those in my Neff top and bottom ovens. They were well packaged and arrived promptly.
