Genius - says it all really
I wanted to buy a quality charger that was likely to be future proof to some degree and so undertook quite a lot of research before placing an order for the GENIUS G1100. Reviews and specs were good and the product price point was below the Optimate 4 dual. This charger automatically provides CAN bus charging if it senses that type of connection (optional lead required) and charges all types of battery that I am likely to have. My only criticism so far is that GENIUS have decided to market it with one combination eyelet (for permanent connection)/clamp lead which meant that I had to purchase an additional eyelet lead. Apparently, it was supplied with both leads until fairly recently. Prices were very fair considering the quality of the lead though.Nice build quality and is simple to use. I am pleased with the product and would recommend it to others.

What a charger
What a charger. I bought a master charger of Amazon thought it was good but it's not a patch on this one the genius g1100 I have a mower battery that was not in the best shape low on water very tired so put some distilled water in it. I tryed the the master charge but put up the replace light and would not even try to charge it.Put it on the genius it charged it right up !I mean to 100% when I pluged in the charger it even picked the best way to charge the batteryI also have a bike with a gel battery pluged it in it picked the stronger charge cold setting gel battery's don't like trickle charging but sees to love the forced chargeThink this is a great product with a five year Warrenty

The best charger for lithium & other battery types!
Love it!!!It charges my lithium scooter battery in about 10 minutes, ready to use and go! The best thing about the lithium batteries is that they charge so quickly (not fully but more than enough power to go!) and the worst thing is you need a good charger that won't overcharge them! This charger is brilliant! It works perfectly for lithium or any other motorcycle batteries, easy to use and small enough to pack away in the smallest of spaces. My lithium battery is ready to go in about 10 minutes from completely flat ( then my scooter fully charges it after 20-30 constant riding), or I can fully charge it in about 20-25 using the charger at home. You can leave your battery connected to the charger indefinitely as it intelligently knows when the battery is fully charged and reduces the current to maintain the battery charge indefinitely.Lovely piece of kit!

Has managed to safely rescue a number of flat batteries
Safely charges without overheating plates which then become unable to function properly

Best batter charger for my motor bike battery.
I purchased the battery charger as my old charger was no longer up to the job. I have a BMW R1150 RT that I ride during summer but in winter it only comes out on the rare sunny days, and my old charger did not always give it a full charge. I found that the NOCO charger did exactly what it said in the tin ( well the cardboard box actually ). I now have confidence that my battery will not let me down in future thanks to the superb electronic engineering incorporated in this charger.

Have I found a cheaper alternative to CTEK??? Big boots to fill...
OK. I am a massive fan of my CTEK MXS5.0 but it doesn’t do lithium batteries so I had to invest in something that did. CTEK were my first port of call for research but then I stumbled across this noco genius for around half the price of the CTEK equivalent. It’s charged my lithium battery on my KTM with no issue at all. Whether it lives up to the amazing standard of my CTEK will remain to be seen over time (I have revived and recovered batteries with that which should never have been saved). If you don’t own a art charger like this and you have cars or bikes seldom used, you need to invest. It will pay for itself.

An excellent charger for non-Li batteries - Owners of Li batteries please read the first paragraph.
Firstly, as others have commented, the product illustrated is very clearly the newer Version 2 G1100 charger, which has a specific setting to charge Li batteries, however the charger that I received was the older Version 1 model, which does not. Nowhere on the site does Amazon state which G1100 version they will actually supply but, from the photographs they use, I would agree that customers are being misled here.Fortunately my battery is not a Li model so the older V1 charger is absolutely fit for my purposes. The battery terminals on my scooter are an absolute pain to get to, so the option of leaving leads permanently attached to the terminals and being able to connect the charger via a single plug was the main feature that drew me to this charger. I've used it a few times now to check and/or top-up motorcycle batteries and it's done the job perfectly.

A good charger let down by some curious design choices!
I have several motorcycles and use tenders from various other manufacturers so I know my way around this sort of device the unit itself is well made and has the features you would expect. However noco have let themselves down in several areas. First the connector for attachment to the battery harness is their own proprietary design not a standard SAE connection. This means you are stuck with their products if you need to extend cable length.Next up we have cable length! They have been a bit stingy and there is 2 or 3 feet less cable than you generally get with other leading brands. This means parking your bike near to a power outlet is critical if you dont want spend another £15 on a noco 3m extention. And lastly the moulding around the battery connection eyelets although very stylish is ridiculously bulky! This makes attachment on some battery types difficult and you will not be able to refit the terminal boots! Also one of the fasteners holding the eyelets to the crocodile clips was very poorly made and I had to use pliers to unscrew it and the correct allen key would not engage. All in all I think noco have let themselves down by skimping where it matters with this charger.
