Great little cooler
With its price point - and being new to all this I am pleasantly surprised by the results of this cooler. Pre-installation I was hovering around the mid-high 50°s. Now I am getting temperatures that hover around the mid-high 20°s as shown in the screenshot. I am really pleased with the overall results. The mounting of it tests the flexibility of the motherboard but once it's fixed on, it is fine. All I would say is: when I was mounting it to my board I had to adjust the clips to get a tighter sit on top of the CPU. In order to make the adjustment, I had to bend the 'pins' in order to release the lock. Unfortunately, one of them snapped which made mounting it after the accident a lot harder BUT with that being said, it does have a tighter fitting now the mount now doesn't move and isn't likely to be moved for a while so I can live with it.

Impressive at at a low cost
Ditched my Coolmaster Hyper 103 as I found it had very poor clips which were prone to break. I found the Antec A40 Pro on here and I can recommend. I am used to pc building but it's very easy to install. I had to pull out the motherboard due to the 103 bracket. But if you have the stock housing it's just a matter of cleaning your cpu, new paste and clip it on. It's that easy. It does not come with thermal paste so you will need some if you don't have any. I use MX4 I just have used it for years but your choice. The fan is very quiet running and looks very nice. Lastly it uses rubber kind of grommets to fix it self to the heatsink. They are very flexible and so much better than what Coolmaster use and also as it's fixed to the stock housing you can remove it easy for cleaning unlike the Coolmaster or any using custom plates. I can't recommend this fan enough.

Nice and quiet
Bought this to replace an AMD Wraith cooler that had developed a bit of a rattle. Inside an Antec Silent P7 case this is very quiet in comparison.Installing on a GIGABYTE GA-AB350M-Gaming 3 motherboard was pretty easy. Removed the previous cooler, cleaned up the paste, refitted the original plastic mounts, added new thermal paste and clipped this on. It did take a fair bit of pressure to get the clip fastened but it's on there securely. I've got four sticks of RAM in there and the fan does overhang the closest one. It looks like removing it might be a little bit tight, but I didn't try.The description doesn't mention this cooler fitting an AM4 socket board on the description, but it does. I checked the manufacturers website before ordering. I didn't notice it in the product images either, but this comes with thermal paste. No need to order separately.

Really great value cooler
Since I can't get my hands on the new Arctic Freezer 7 X I decided to give this a go as it's a similar price. It absolutely crushes my stock Intel cooler (terrible and noisy) and keeps CPU temps around 45 degrees, compared to 60+ with Intel stock. Nice and quiet too. I'd read online that installation was a bit of a pain but I had no trouble. It's a bit of an old school system but it seems to work. Practice clipping the cooler to the bracket out of your system first to get an idea of how it connects. Overall this is a great value cooler and is a no brainer if you still have a stock Intel cooler.

Fantastic value proposition
For the price you need to pay, it is an absolute no brainer. Not only it gives me a solid 10-15°C improvement over Intel Box Cooler, it is significantly quieter. Keeps my i3-4170 well under 50 °CThe cooler is pretty light, but I still would prefer if the LGA bracket used a backplate. The spring is very stiff and it might be challenging to install when space is at premium. The fan is mounted with rubber pegs - they do damper the vibrations, but are a real pain to work with.Nevertheless it is a very good offer and I can wholeheartedly recommend it.

Good value for money compact tower
Did a great job of reducing the temps on an i7 2600 from 85 to 65. Very happy once installed, however the bracket system was a lot of fuss - practice clipping it on dry so you know the right method before using thermal paste, I had to reapply mine after several failed attempts! Great value for £15

So much better than original CPU cooler
Excellent value, fitted to a 7 year old AMD3+ Biostar 970D board in a couple of minutes. You need to press fairly hard to clip it down which can be awkward in a narrow space. My average running temperature has dropped from around 60c to 30c and it is whisper quiet. As my system was often close to throttling down, I should see improvements in audio and video rendering speed and be able to get more years out of my system before needing to replace it.

good cooler, bit too wide though
this has been in my machine for 2 months now and the CPU temps are fine, only issue was that the fan on the side is a little large, meaning that the casing presses up against the heat sink of the first RAM slot (ASUS prime H310m-E MoBo using Patriot Viper RAM), meaning that 'Low profile' RAM is to be advised (and therefore NO RGB/Cheap options)
