I chose these for the price, the swivel, and the black metal/ wood seat. A swivel seat was a must because I didn’t want stools that had to be pulled in and out to scratch up the floor. I like the wood seat also, it’s nice quality, feels rough like wood, but not snaggy at all. You can feel the wood grain on it. It should also wipe clean, unlike fabric seats. These have metal legs, but come with a hard plastic-like end that blends in and isn’t noticeable once they are turned up right. They are the perfect height for our counter, and were easy to assemble. I only needed a second set of hands for one section on one of the stools, while assembling the other I seemed to manage it myself. Another reason I chose these over all wood stools was the metal. If something comes apart, I’m thinking my husband can weld it back together. (He may disagree, I haven’t mentioned this to him 😬)The all wood stools in my price range had reviews about them coming apart with little use, which deterred me.I’ll give them a 5 for now for my initial impression of the quality and ease of assembly. If they can’t hold up to our needs I’ll come back and edit my review.It says on the assembly instructions to occasionally tighten the screws. So I taped the little allen wrench on the bottom of each seat for tightening.

I received this stool and immediately started the assembly process. It was easy to follow the directions and I was looking forward to getting it finished. Then I realized that I was missing some of the hardware. The instruction sheet has an email address on it so I sent an email requesting additional hardware. I was pleasantly surprised to get a response within a few hours. The hardware has been shipped and should be here in a few days. I can’t review the sturdiness of the stool yet, but the seat is well padded and appears comfortable. I would order again at this point.

Each chair needs 20 screws for a total of 40 screws in a box of 2 chairs. I ordered 2 sets of 2. Both sets only sent 14 screws for each chair instead of 20, so each box was missing 12 screws. Both sets looked like they have been returned multiple times. The "C" part was missing solder on the crossbar. Pretty to look at, but poor quality.

We ordered 3 of these stools and recieved them on time. The problem is we got enough hardware to put 1stool together. The stools look well built and are exactly what we wanted.. The problem is no hardware to put them together. After working with there representive they said they would get us the parts. Well they sent about 5 ounces of parts on a slow boat from China. Amazon should not offer these stools anymore until that factory gets things straighted out. They look like a great stool and we like the 1 we put together. I drove around town and checked at 4 hardware stores to find matching hardware but could not find any. I wrote this review and now would like to update it, I did get the all the hardware I needed and everything went well after that.The company has contacted me 3 times thru email to make sure everything is ok.These stools are great,look good,sturdy and assemble easy and quick. I would defiantly buy another one.

This product is fine but telling by the rest of the comments it’s true a couple washers are missing . It seems someone can’t count at the factory . I was able to make do as I only missed two washers . But the product itself is fine for what it’s worth . It’s not grand but it will do.

These were easy to put together and are comfortable to sit on. They are built with a swivel under the seat and easy to sit on and stand up from.

Purchased four of these for outdoor use. Comfortable, and attractive. Assembly on two of them was a challenge as parts were missing. The mfg was uncooperative but the parts were easy to order from Amazon so mission complete. Second set was complete.

I bought two of these counter stools to add seating to a small island in my summer house kitchen. They had to be put together, but they are very sturdy and rotate. Frankly I was surprised at how well built they are and the style works very well with my small scale kitchen island.
