Sealey Ak9821 Metal Punch Set 14Pc

I don't own a drill press, and I was really struggling to make neat holes in 0.6mm stainless steel sheet metal. I wish I'd known about these years ago. Perfect, burr-free holes are now no problem. The only thing I would say is those with small or weak hands will not be able to use this tool. My glove size is medium, and I could just get my hand around the handles when they were in the open (ready to punch) position. The force you need to apply is also not insignificant. But given all the struggling I'd been doing with workbenches, ratchet clamps and metal punches, this is a real time saver.

I bought these when somebody damaged the smallest die on my much more expensive punch (£150+). I’ve used this to punch about 2000 holes in flattened copper pipe and they work just as well.There’s more sideways movement in the handle and they don’t feel as sturdy, but after 2000 holes, they keep going strong. Outstanding product for the price.

Always working with electrical metal trunking, thought I'd give these a go.Certainly saves time compared to drilling the holes for fixing the joiners/bends. Also punch has a depth gauge, which means you only need to mark one measurement.All in all, a nice time saving tool.

There not the best, and the price reflects that; but so long as you realise this, and use it for light punching of thin tin or aluminium, then there oaky.

I absolutely love this! The ease of putting holes into metal is amazing! I work with stainless steel and found it a doddle to use! You don't need to be super strong either. I make jewellery and would highly recommend this. Plus it arrived super fast which was a huge bonus!

The product shipped really fast, and the tool is solid. It would help if the description had exact numbers (thicknesses) for different metals. I found that 6 mm holes can be punched in 2 mm aluminium (6061) , but significant effort is required, i.e. I would not be able to punch 10 holes in row w/o getting fatigue. I will probably get extra leverage using two pipes, I realize that this obviously will stress the tool.

Purchased mainly for punching holes in thin gague metal trunking which it does very well, the set comprises of a selection of hole sizes but all are imperial (not metric) but there should be a size near enough to suit (my specific requirement was for a 7mm hole). The alternative is to drill holes and then file but without trying to mark the finished surface and also time. Depth gague too.

I needed to make a lot of holes in sheet steel between 1mm and 1.6 mm thick for some traditional steel riveting. Electric drills were too slow and I broke a few drill bits with the thicker sheets.This tool however was quick and efficient and also has a good selection of punch widths.I have only had this tool for a couple of months so I cannot speak for its longevity , but I have been using it hard since I got it and there are no problems as yet.

Perfetto, funziona benissimo e il taglio é netto e non ha sbavature.Un pó pesante da maneggiare ma ci sta. .

Troppo pesante e poco pratico per il resto buca beneeccellente il tempo di consegna molto prima del previsto ..
