this reel is perfect for surf fishing
This is not a small reel. Its heavy(just a little) but feels dependable. Paired with St.Croix Mojo Surf 11feet, this reel is perfect for surf fishing. Very smooth and well constructed, it can take some beating--I dropped it a few times in the sand while unhooking fish, it got sandy, and I simply rinsed it in the ocean water and kept on fishing. Of course I rinsed it again with tap water when I got home. Two extra spools(all machined metal) really a bonus. Worth the money.

got this reel for my Daiwa saltiga 13'3 surf rod, they work perfect, Best reel I've ever had for surf fishing，does exactly what the discription said，very long distance casting, definitely will refer to friend,would rate more stars if I could😄
