Jitterbugs Game is great fun for little ones. Each player has to catch the trembling creepy crawlies with a magnetic spider fishing rod. The Jitterbugs Game is great fun for children. Turn the game on to make the bugs jitter all over the garden base. Then each player can use a spider fishing rod to try to pick up bugs one at a time. Each rod has a different-coloured spider on the end, so players try and catch their matching coloured bugs. The first player to catch all of their bugs is the winner. For an easier game, players can rush to try and fish as many bugs as possible. When all the bugs have been caught, the players can count how many jitterbugs they've picked up. This game is good fun for young children to play.

The children love it but the bugs don't move around much
I've got a 5 and a 2.5 year old and they both love it, hence it gets 4 stars. However, I am not that convinced:- The flower meadow is made of paper so I guess the first little spill and it's going to be ruined.- I like that the fishing rods have a proper string so it is more difficult to catch the bugs; however, the children can't set the game up themselves because they get tangled constantly- the bugs jitter around but don't move much (I thought that they would move around the board properly, which is why I bought it), so while my 5 year old loves the game she catches them all within 30 seconds. I would therefore recommend the game for children under 4.- the vibrating platform is quite noisyYes, it could be improved but I would still recommend it.All in all it is a great game as it keeps the children playing together peacefully!!! It is not that competitive and they don't need to wait their turn. Hence, I can leave them playing this on their own without any arguments going on between them. What more could I ask for...?

Really great fun for younger kids
Bought for my nephew who absolutely loves it. It's very entertaining for young kids and it's massively easy so presents a fun challenge. Those last few pesky bugs are little blighters to catch! Would recommend for kids up to about six or seven years. Needs to be used on a flat surface (or bugs' movement is restricted) and also - parents be warned - it's noisy!

Fun game
Great game for children. Noisy too but that's the appeal. My 2 and 4 year old love it. Gives plenty of entertainment.Only downside is the price, The Entertainer had it for £9.

Average quality
Overall good. Son enjoys it. Only thing is if you slightly touch the board the vibration stops and you have to try get it going again. Which in my opinion is not practical.

Made my daughter laugh out loud
My 3 year old loves this - she wanted to play it over and over again and it was lovely to hear her laughing out loud when the bugs got faster and faster as the game went on. It's good for this age - easy enough that they don't get frustrated but harder as there are fewer bugs on the board, so there is a bit of a challenge.

3 year old loves it.
3 year old loves it. Like others have said it is very loud, and do by the C batteries as it doesnt come with one, and being a C not many people have them knocking around.

Simple and a lot of fun.
This is harder than it looks. As fewer and fewer ladybirds remain they go ever faster. I sometimes turn the motion off so that my 4 yr old has a chance to catch some. Great game though. Simple and a lot of fun.
