Love the dress but it run larger to size

I recently purchased this denim dress. The denim dress is very comfortable and fits well. I would recommend wearing slip shorts underneath because of the width of the dress.

This item did not feel as comfortable as I hoped. The sleeves are REALLY long (almost long sleeves for me) and can be rolled to a cuff, but I have to roll it up significantly or it irritates my arm because of the excessively thick fabric. The length is definitely longer than I wanted. It falls almost mid calf for the rear of the dress and the front is below the knees. I'm about 5'2, but I have a longer torso with shorter legs. It is just overwhelming with fabric that I feel like a 5th grader playing dress-up. I relate to Janine (Quinta Brunson) from Abbott Elementary in body build mixed with Simone Biles... when there's too much fabric-- it feels like I can be mistaken for a student.Besides the oversized feel... the fabric was a bit rough and not as breathable as I would have liked for the heat. The shoulders feel smaller than the measurements, but I do have broad shoulders ranging between 18-19 inches across. The bottom has more fabric and will sit loose because it is like a baby doll flare with layer tiers in the back, which is great for those blessed in that region.To sum everything up... the Size is smaller on top, with longer arms, and larger on the bottom and just too long for those shorter in limbs and shorter in general for the height unless you like the longer length.

I love this Dress!!!! Comfortable, Cute, Sexy! The only reason I gave it a four star is because pockets would have made it perfect. No pockets!

I like the dress, the style and the fit (I bought very large) but the smell.......... It's awful. I have washed the dress and the odor still lingers. I shouldn't have to wash the odor out of any new item of clothing. It's now airing outside in the hopes that the airing will have an impact. It's true that the dress in the picture is not the dress you get. It doesn't have the gathers as in the picture. It's tiered but flatter. Another reviewer mentioned the hems not being well finished and that is also true.

I absolutely love this dress!! Only thing that could make it better is pockets.

The dress is nice, it is oversized. A little different looking. I thought the stitching was tan and tye buttons. I thought it came cuffed too. Nice dress just different from what I was expecting
