You may end up with missing parts or miss shapen parts, first time I bought it there were duplicate and missing parts, my 2nd purchase (the one I own now) has a slightly bent Wing and wont snap in place perfectly and after you make the stand for the model you can't change it without lots of force. Models are fairly detailed and look nice though.

Airfix have done it again!The always popular Harrier is given the Quickbuild treatment by Airfix and it builds up into a surprisingly accurate model. it is fairly straightforward to build but I would advise that you follow the instructions because they have been careful to make it a little challenging for the builder.It is aimed at children from the ages of 5 years upwards but the plans are entirely pictorial and an adult may be needed to help at times with a young one. Like the other quick build kits this one can be taken apart and re-built any number of times.The size of the completed model is about eight inches long and so ideal for the youngsters to play with once built.Very sturdy model it is too! I would thoroughly recommend this kit to all children - and adults like me who want to have a bit of harmless fun! It is also very nice to see a new product that is both DESIGNED AND MANUFACTURED IN THE U.K.. GREAT FUN.No glue or waterslide decals needed;stickers provided for RAF Harrier.(Would have liked a choice of stickers here though). VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I started making models over 60 years ago and have not done it for probably the last 50 so fancied starting again. This kit is really easy to build and instructions are really clear. The finished article is very good. I still prefer the old method of glueing but for anyone starting out this is an ideal introduction.

Easy to follow instructions. Clips together like the well known "brick building system ". Makes an accurate, if basic, representation of the harrier. Can be glued if necessary. Age from young to old - if you can handle small bits of plastic, without eating it, recommended

Basically, its like shaped Lego that fits together to make a more accurate looking finished product than the blocky look of actual Lego. The parts do fit together well but on occasion one needs some extra pressure to mate all surfaces. Mine was a warehouse deal so the supplied stickers that would have been in the box were missing. the markings are provided in sticker form as mentioned. Its display in flight only so a nice chunky stand is supplied. The scale is probably around 1:72 which for this Harrier is a pretty good size without being cumbersome for a display shelf.

I bought the spitfire quick build while on holiday in Devon - rainy day and did not want to make a mess in the holiday cottage with paint and glue The spitfire looks fantastic. I was really pleased with it and so was my six year old son who has played with it every day for the last two months. I bought the Messerschmitt and that is a fantastic model too The harrier was a "add on" item on Amazon and was a lot cheaper at the time. Having been impressed with the other two, I thought this would be good It is relatively simple to build but it is all one colour (grey) and looks very drab beside the spitfire and Messerschmitt. In hindsight, I wished I had bought another model. The quick build kits are great fun and I would recommend them but this looks a little dull compared to some of the others

La maquette est composée de pièces qui ressemblent à des Lego et qui s'emboîte de la même façon. La notice est bien faite pour cela. La maquette se construit couche après couche et le résultat final est assez beau et surtout solide ! Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas de peinture pour rendre la maquette plus réaliste (là il y a juste 3 pauvres autocollants qui n'ont pas tenu plus de 30 minutes...). C'est le seul défaut sinon j'ai pu l'assembler avec mon fils de 7 ans est lui donnant juste un coup de main pour renforcer l'assemblage. Les maquettes Revell easykit sont mieux et plus réalistes ( Revell - Maquette - Tornado : elles constituent une meilleure approche du modélisme. En revanche, les maquettes Airfix QuickBuild sont très solides et résisteront mieux à des chutes répétées.

Perfecto para niños a partir de 5 años aunque necesitarán ayuda de un adulto para montarlo. Único defecto que no sea un AV8B+ ;P

Gute Verarbeitung und Passgenauigkeit! Ein großer Spaß für Groß und Klein! Es entsteht ein richtiges Modell und der zusammenbauen funktioniert wirklich wie Lego! Sieht top aus! Nur die Aufkleber sind nicht wirklich gut halten nicht gut! Aber sonst super!

Yes, to my grandson. This is another one that he has that I had bought through Amazon. He enjoyed putting it together for the hour or so that it took. He needs something more challenging.
