Debox DEKSB-001 4 pole connector block junction box (Pack of 1)

Ideal and good price. Done the job.

This junction box is a bit flimsy in construction, a little too lightweight. It is almost impossible to make the cable entry points waterproof and in my view it should have come with a couple of sizes of rubber grommets to insert around the cable and round cut outs not double D shaped ones are each end. I do not believe the feedback that is suitable for outside use nor waterproof, as to me it is not. Now the good part, it is also a very quick, neat way of joining cables and of modest cost. Used in the correct and IMV dry place it did a good job.

Clever design and usefully compact. Built in terminal block most appreciated. Cable grip and electrical connections satisfactory. Only used for low DC voltage. Not sure if adequate or meeting IET regs for 240v use.

Not what I was expecting as it's a little bulky. Obviously my fault for not being more careful with the measurement they gave. But it is flimsy and no good with 1.5mm cable. Not recommended!

Good product at a good price

But fiddly to start with but did what I needed it to do

Bought two of these 1 to replace an old round terminal box which had seen better days and the second to connect a fan to a switch. There is plenty of space inside for cables and cut outs at each end ( if this is being used outside don't forget to seal around the cables with a silicone sealer to prevent moisture getting in. There is a 4 way terminal block fitted rated at 5 Amp so only really suited to lighting.

A tictac box would have worked better than this for what I needed it for. It's basically just a block connector inside a very poorly designed and flimsily made box... it's probably too big for it's purpose too. Waste of space. I took a stanley knife to it, modifying it for my needs and removed the block connector, I have better ones already. Most of what was left went in the bin.
