Useful additive for that extra bit of nutritional support.
When I bred show pigs I used the Pro-C Professional version, but now I’ve only two spoilt pet pigs I’m happy to use this less potent version of the Pro-C small herbivore supplement. I don’t add it to my pigs’ water but sprinkle a little on to their nightly moist veg and have never experienced an issue w any of my pigs refusing to eat anything with a tiny amount of this powder on it.As well as being a useful regular supplement to offer pet rabbits and cavies, its pre and pro biotic benefits are particularly useful after an animal has completed any course of veterinary treatment that will have affected the animal’s natural gut biome, i.e. a course of the antibiotic Baytril, and should help restore the beneficial gut flora needed for healthy digestion from a highly fibrous diet.Happily recommend the Pro-C range.

Great supplement for your piggies.
Great product but dislike the new design of the container. Difficult to get your hand into to get the scoop out, will be very awkward for anyone with big hands.

Good product
We have a sweet bunny. When the weather turns into cold outside or just the weather changes quickly, our sweet bunny got sneezed, and felt bad. Since we started to use this pro-biotics, she just doing well, and never sensitive for anything. I think it is a good product.

Helped my rabbit recover from a long case of snuffles
One of my rabbits has had a really snuffly nose on and off for a year and a half. We’ve been to the vets countless times, tried all different antibiotics and nothing has got rid of it as it always comes back. I have tried this powder before but probably wasn’t religious enough about giving it everyday as I have been this time. The last time we took him to the vet was 4 months ago and we were told no more antibiotics and just to leave him as it’s just how he is. He seemed to get worse and worse. About 3 weeks ago I bought more of this to try again. I have been putting a good 3 scoops in their water bowl (it’s a dog sized one) and in the last 3/4 days his breathing is normal! And I’m certain it’s due to this. For ages I’ve been vacuuming everyday, changed their hay in case it was that, anti-bac everything and none of it helped. I’ll try to post an update in a month or so if he stays wellUPDATE- my rabbit since got a swab and it’s been confirmed pseudomonas is the cause of his issues. He has had a course of antibiotics to make sure it’s gone for now and I’ve continued with the powder and he’s the healthiest he’s been in over a year. The sneezing has stopped completely (it had even before the antibiotics) and he’s like a normal rabbit again. I’m going to continue to put it in their water as he’s never been better.Further update: my rabbit had to have two teeth removed due to an abscess. The antibiotics he was on were giving him tummy ache so I started syringing some of this and within hours he was so hungry. I forgot to give it to him one day and he stopped eating again. The difference it’s made is amazing.

Its sugar so didn't use it.
I ordered this for my poorly bunny but hadn't seen the ingredients. It is basically Dextrose and fructose - or sugar. It may have the probiotic also but I decided that the last thing my rabbit needed was more refined sugar and certainly not sugar water so have not used it. He is now restricted to having just hay and grass and water - all that rabbits in the wild would eat.He is now well again and hopping around happily so maybe rabbits sometimes need all the man-made nuggets and food supplements removed from their diets!
