OSRAMH7 Longlife High Tech 12V 55W PX26D 64210L, 2 car lamps, incandescent bulbs

Purchased from seller Electronicx, this duo-pack of H7 499 64210L bulbs arrived promptly. This is the L version of the 64210 Osram H7, which is a longlife version, and is as fitted by VW in recent vehicles. I bought these bulbs as spares.Speaking generally, with car bulbs, you can sometimes be unlucky in getting minor manufacturing faults in the bulb, which can render the bulb unusable as an MOT-passable device. For example, the filament and the glass envelope generally need to be fully symmetrically aligned on its metal base, so as to create the beam properly. The tolerances for this can be quite small. I'm glad to report that careful inspection of the two I received showed they were fine in that regard. On the other hand, I've not actually tried them out in earnest in the headlight unit yet, but I'm not anticipating any issues with them.

Replaced some absolutely rubbish LED lights that I’d inherited from the previous owner of my car! I mean they were like two child’s cake candles. I’ve used Osram for years and have used these bulbs previously with good results. They’re not super bright and they’ll never be a match for modern HIDs or (factory fit) LEDs but they do a decent job of putting enough light on the road, as the bulbs are a dog to change in my car I went for the long life ones as these should give enough time for the skin in my knuckles to grow back before the next change!

Decent bulbs - no better or worse than equivalents. I should know, if you run an elderly Volvo on which they double as daytime running lights replacement is an annual ritual!

I always use branded light bulbs for my car. But I would say these are far better than what I had before. Very bright and clear light.

Like for like replacement, yet to be seen how long it lasts.Arrived on time and well packed.

Great value bulbs received very quickly. I have not used them yet so I hope they live up to their long life description. No one can discount their exceptional value

Just received these and I was expecting the longlife version, clearly marked on the bulbs that came out of my car as 64210L. The ones provided are marked only 64210, without the L. Not sure if it will make a difference and at such a cheap price I'm happy if I get half the 'longlife' use out of them, but would would get a warmer, fluffier feeling of the markings had that "L" on them.

Was ist da Longlife?2016 kaufte ich nun diese Osram Leuchten... und nun rechnen wir mal 2023. das macht gute 7 Jahre Haltbarkeit und das für den Kurs! Ja, sie könnten etwas hellder sein... aber dafür jedes Jahr neu? Nee. Mit den Osram Leuchten spart man echtes Geld gegenüber den Philips Leuchten.Daher volle Empfehlung.
