The Ord figure arrived today, and it looks great. The Ord is a Marvel comics character which instead of a normal head he was born with an eyeball and he has some mystical properties. A villain of Ghost Rider with excelling marksmanship. This is one of those weird characters that I waited on to purchase. I am happy with this purchase.

This was a gift for my nephew. He loved it.

The Orb is a motorcycle stunt rider and an old school character I grew up with, having first read about him in Marvel Team-Up Volume 1, No 15 November '73. The team up featured the Ghost Rider and Spider-man, and shared the Orb's origin story as well. He later appeared in Deadpool & The Mercs for Money No 4, again riding a motorcycle. So when I decided to add him to my collection, I also picked up the Wolverine with Motorcycle set. Great prices on both made them hard to pass up! This figure is a nice rendition of the character. I like the paint apps and helmet graphics, and he was easy to pose right out of the box. The older body feels sturdy and seems almost appropriate for this guy, and he looks great on the bike! I would've liked to see some extra hands come with it, but those are easy enough to find online. Overall a great figure that I'm happy to have in my collection.

Cool articulation for an unknown character from the marvel comics

I don't know anything about this character, either. But, he is cool visually. I think they could have used a better body choice for this figure instead of this old one from 2012. Come on, Hasbro, retire that fossil already. You have so many other male bodies to choose from. Fortunately, the collar & belt are not glued to the figure so you could easily customize him onto something else & not be too far off. I also feel like his head--or eyeball--could be a little bigger. I can't imagine there's enough room for a person's head inside of that thing. That being the case, putting the head onto another body could make it seem even smaller. I love the weapon accessory. I haven't seen that one used too much.

Photo 1 - Will the real Mr. Orb please blink your eye. Orb is the fella in a red costume who looks like he is a motor-cycle stuntman – a Hellrider like Johnny Blaze? Who is the other fella with an eyeball for a head? I have forgotten his name. Bought him in the early 1990s. He is a from a wave of Masters of Universe figures which have more realistic body proportions – no bent knees or bow-legged look. It’s okay if you thought Mr. Orb is a Masters of Universe villain because he looks the part but he is a Marvel villain from the 1970s. Photo 2 - Why is the Ghost Rider in the photo? Orb is a nemesis of the Ghost Rider. I was never a fan of the Ghost Rider and knew little about his enemies. Orb is an obscure villain and I only came to know about him from the Amazon sales site. I did not have an eye for this guy even though he is rather eye-catching. Put him with other figures and his head-size eyeball will stand out. Costume-wise, he is no eye candy but he well-sculpted and the paintwork is nice. I would need to have him in order to have the build-a-figure Puff Adder. Hence, when the price was right, I bought him. Ghost Rider fans should buy Mr. Orb. Given his obscurity, he is not likely to have another production figure. He may appreciate in value in the years to come.
