Steiff 32cm Elmar Teddy Bear (Golden Brown), 022456

Beautiful bear, made a lovely gift.

Love this little bear. As always Steiff bears are beautifully made. He’s adorable. The blonde bear is my favourite colour. Brought as a Christmas gift for a friend. I don’t want this little treasure to go🤗 Adorable 😊

I am over 60 year old women. and when we moved house 2 years ago I lost the teddy bear I had since I was a child. I hoped that he would turn up in some box or draw. But after 2 years realise that's not to be. So I bought myself a gift of this little bear, who is very much like my old one. He arrived today. He's so lovely, has a sweet face , feels soft and well made. I am so glad I treated myself. If you are thinking of getting a teddy bear. This one is great. It's so nice to have a bear again. Everyone should have such a nice little friend.

Beautiful teddy bear that I'm sure will be cherished for years to come. Bought as a gift for my new niece or nephew, and my own children have decided they want one from Santa since seeing it. I was unsure whether to go for the 32 or 40 cm but this is the perfect size for play, cuddles, and keeping once older. Doesn't come with a box as other reviews have mentioned but who cares about a box. Some tissue paper to wrap it and maybe a nice ribbon in a gift bag will be fine. I will definitely be buying again.

We first purchase the 32cm version from Amazon which was nothing like the photo shown either on Amazon or the Seiff website where the photo seems to be the same one for both sizes of bear. It looked smaller, thinner and not so attractive. We returned it immediately for an instant refund from Amazon which was very swift and efficiently handled. Having done a lot more research online we finally decided to order the 40cm version from Amazon not quite sure what we’d get. What we got was a better balanced and cuddly bear (than the 32cm) which was closer to the one shown in the photo, but looked like he’d grown up a bit. (see my photos) I can only think that the photo shown of Elmar on the Stiff and Amazon website is of an earlier version. The proportions are all wrong, most noticeably the eyes on the latest version are smaller, that said he is adorable and will be cherished by our new grandson. It just would be nice if he'd matched the picture. There are a number of comments about if the versions shown on Amazon are genuine as they come in a plastic bag, well they are, tagged and individually numbered so I have no doubt genuine Stiff. If you want the box (which doesn’t seem very exciting and is worth £3.95) buy your bear direct from Steiff. Overall height of bear sitting is 29cm, something we couldn’t find out anywhere. Also both the 32cm and 40cm versions have a bulge at the top of his neck, which apparently is normal.

Beautifully made traditional teddy .

Brought for a friend over seas and they absolutely loved him.

Oh my what a beautiful bear. 🐻 He arrived today promptly and also with his friend Mr Mumbles in tow. Lots of fun and antics have been had by these two already ( See pics) and I’m sure lots more fun and frolics will be had. On a serious note, a beautiful bear. The kind of quality to be expected by such a brand. He is even machine washable on a cool wash too which is always a plus I think if they are intended to be played with. Excellent quality and excellent value

Perfect classic teddy bear (named Elmar by Steiff), nice 13” (31cm) size, sweet expression, nice colored soft fur, and above all very happy how everything moves - arms, legs, head, everything adjustable, especially if you want to dress your bear. Bought the bear for quite an old adult - myself - to play with. A little advice: Don’t buy bear clothes, get the clothing for a newborn human baby - much better selection and lower prices.

Amo a mi teddy

Nostalgic design and machine washable. Well made and exactly how a teddybear is supposed to look and feel. Very pleased and would purchase again if lost!
