Litaibai 40 ft Kerf Weather Stripping Door Seal for Exterior Doors, White

This 40-foot kerf weather stripping was exactly what I needed to replace the worn-out seal around my exterior door. Installation was simple since it presses right into the existing groove, and once installed it did a great job reducing drafts and sealing the door. The material feels durable and compresses well. Even though it worked great, I think it could still be just a little thinner for an even easier door close on my setup. That said, it seals much better than my old weather stripping and has noticeably improved the fit of the door. With plenty of length for multiple projects and solid quality, it’s an excellent value and I’d definitely recommend it.

This weather stripping made SUCH a difference and was so easy to install! I had quite a gap between my door and the frame, so this thicker stripping was necessary and absolutely perfect. In Minnesota, the winter breeze is no joke. I could feel it rushing in before this weather stripping. Now there are absolutely no drafts or lights slipping through the cracks! It's been installed for a little over a year now and, and it's got a lot of life left in it. My mother used a similar type of stripping and it's still going strong 10 years later. There's no adhesive either, it just squeezes in between the wood so it's super easy to put up and take down, and the bendability makes it a dream to work with.

just got it and installed on one door in around 5 minutes. not difficult at all. fits perfect and stops cold air like it should. if i see longevity issues, i'll update if needed. for now, this is a great product and a good value at the current price (when getting the 40ft roll). i have plenty left to do my front door.......and after that there'll still be enough left over to replace both doors again in the future (if needed). very satisfied.

My door from the garage to mudroom was leaking cold air constantly. I replaced the weather stripping with this and it has stopped 98% of the cold air coming in. It was a perfect fit; the stripping slid into the existing groove. There is also enough to probably do another door. Great product and easy install.

This worked really nice to reseal a garage door to the laundry room. It’s an exterior door used on the garage and this sealed the worn weatherstrip where a few years of you had gotten it torn it was nice to be able to cut it exactly to the length that I needed, and I have enough leftover to do a second door. I did unwind all of it and lay it out on the hot driveway in the sun for a few hours to make it come into shape which seemed to help and make it easier to install.

This weather stripping is very easy to install. I got the package about an hour ago and I finished installing it on two exterior doors in only about 45 minutes. It is thicker than the original was and makes a better seal. I need to push the door to get it to close now but I think that it will not need that extra force after a few days of use and being compressed.

This is my 4th roll ordered as a handy man. Goes in perfect. It is tightly coiled but the wrinkles come right out after being installed into the grooves.

Exactly what I needed for my front and back door. It’s nice and thick and durable. It was super easy to install. I recommend cutting and installing for the sides of the door frame first then cut for the top of the door frame to ensure full insulation. No measuring tape needed. I just removed one of the side weather strips and the top strip as my reference to cut. As a first timer this took only several minutes to remove the older strip, cut the new strips and install.
