Sunspray® SE 360 fountain for small ponds and containers with adjustable flow pump (12 V Mains Powered)

Excellent little fountain for a small pond or a medium size bird bath. What is good about this little equipment is that it has a little battery that holds the charge from the solar panel so you can decide when you want to run the fountain. I let the fountain run and watch the birds enjoying a splash and a bath. It makes a gentle noise that is relaxing and adds a charm to my little pond made out of a disused shower tray. I would recommend it to anyone who would like a reasonably priced water feature. It is much better than buying a solar fountain without a battery!

Wow it really does work and it also works when it isn't sunny as it has a battery backup! You can bet your life that when you want to hear the sound of trickling water (probably to drown out next door or traffic) when you're having a get-together that the sun goes in.. well, voila, this still works and impresses. I leave it on 'off' mode and then switch it on when I want it to work. The solar panel is very substantial (bit smaller than A4) and feels quite heavy - which explains why it works and it has a tilting post with a spike. Not at all obtrusive and looks the business in my small wildlife pond.

The Sunspray SE360 Solar Fountain is not a toy. It is in fact surprisingly sturdy in construction and fits together securely providing a watertight seal for the electrics. The key thing to remember with anything like this is to READ THE INSTRUCTIONS! The one step which is easy to miss is to connect the all important rechargeable battery in the battery compartment. It is this feature that makes this pump superior to many cheaper products on the market. Although this unit does function best in full sun, if a cloud comes over or the solar panel finds itself in the shade the battery will keep the pump working for a surprisingly long time. This I have discovered when forgetting to switch the unit off I have gone out several hours after the sun has passed over to find the thing still chugging away.The choice of spray heads are sure to provide almost any effect you require.I have my unit in a large plastic tub on the terrace which means the water is pretty clean. If I had it in my pond I would take great care to make sure the water to the pump was well filtered as even with my setup small items have blocked the spray holes. These are easily cleared but if it meant fishing the thing out from between the waterlilies it could become a bore.All in all I am very pleased with this product and am now working on plans for a much larger solar-powered water-feature!

The media could not be loaded.  Have just bought my second one, it is excellent. Comes pre charged so works out of the box. The back up battery is a lifesaver if you live in UK like me as we don't get summers! So this stores power until switched on and works even if no sun. Delivery was a little slow and was delayed, but worth the wait👍🏻

I sent for this Solar Fountain because it had a battery back up which meant that it could be used all year round irrespective of whether the sun was out or not. Well that was the impression I got.When it arrived I could not see how the batteries could be removed for recharging. I contacted the Seller and was advised that they are re-charged by the sun, they cannot be taken out to re-charge in an electric battery charger.To me that was no good, as having several solar lights round the back garden, I know from experience that the sun does not always sufficiently re-charge that type of battery. I need to keep a small fountain going to aerate the water all year round for the frogs in my tiny pond. This fountain had to be returned because, as I say, I wanted to be able to re-charge the batteries for the back up in my electric re-charger.

I did a lot of research when looking for a solar fountain that would be "man enough" to keep refreshing the water in my large (900 litre) pot which is planted with water plants and has goldfish in it. The Sunspray fountain arrived earlier than advised (always a good sign!), it was very well packed and is a good quality item. All the pieces are solid enough and the instructions were really clear on how to fix it together (another good sign!). Within 30 minutes of receiving the fountain it was floating on the container. Of course, with our "summer" it didn't work immediately as there was no sun, but within a couple of days of fitful sunshine it was merrily spraying away on its' floating pad. I'd recommend a couple of things: put wire across the pond/container to prevent the fountain floating to the edge and sending all the water cascading out (the pump is very efficient!) and putting the rechargeable battery backup in a plastic bag to keep it watertight.I am very pleased with the Sunspray fountain, it does what it says, and the battery backup keeps it going for a while in dull weather too.

This fountain was bought because its predecessor just didnt have any strength for a good fountain what ever strength the sun offered.I am thrilled and delighted with Sunspray SE 360. An appartment dweller living on a first floor I have a rectangular plot, part of a group of 30 within a landscaped purpose built plot (within the equally landscaped and manicured grounds.We compete with each other to make our plots little showpieces themselves, with designs and plants chosen for effect.Your fountain, and I are very happy to be the stars with Sunspray sitting in the middle of a moulded plastic water filled base. Reaching lovingly above all, and adding the musical tinkling of water that everyone enjoys. Thank you thank you thank you. Your fountain is my magic wand.

Easy to set up and does work well. I've had it for about 3 months now without problems. I would say that it's not very powerful so only suited to a pond roughly 1m in diameter otherwise it looks out of proportion (even on the highest power setting). Also, it only really works on sunny days. If there are clouds then it tends to peter out.
