These magnetic cupboard locks are a brilliant solution for childproofing the home. They are completely hidden inside the cabinets, so they don’t affect the look of the kitchen at all. Installation was straightforward and didn’t require any complicated tools. Once fitted, they work perfectly — strong enough to keep cupboards securely closed, but still easy for adults to open using the magnetic key. The quality feels reliable and durable, and having multiple locks and keys included is very convenient. Overall, a great product that gives real peace of mind. Highly recommended!

Great product in helping protect children in the kitchen, from all the nasties we keep there, like pots and pans that can wreak havoc on an 18months old toes, if they get in a cupboard and drop said items. These are easy to fit and come with a fitting fixture that makes installing very easy, the big bonus is, no screws are needed, therefore no damage to your kitchen whatsoever, great as ours is only a couple of years old, the adhesive pads can be removed later esing a hair dryer to warm and soften the adhesive,. The magnetic locks work well and can be disabled easily when not needed ( ours are used when our granddaughter is with us during the day), they also come with a small sticker to place on the outer side of the door to indicate the location of the magnetic lock, they are not obtrusive and again are easy to remove using the same method mentioned, Just be mindful that a high heat setting on your heat source could effect the finish on your cupboard doors, when you come to remove the locks and stickers.

These magnetic child safety locks work very well once installed and are a great way to keep cupboards and drawers secure from curious children without visible external locks. The magnetic key system is clever and keeps everything looking neat and tidy. Installation was a bit fiddly and took some patience to align properly, especially on certain cupboard types, but once fitted correctly they work reliably and feel secure. The adhesive holds well, and the locks stay hidden inside the cabinet which looks much cleaner than traditional safety latches. For everyday use, they’re very convenient because adults can open cupboards easily with the magnetic key while children can’t access potentially dangerous items. Overall, a very effective child safety solution that’s worth the effort during installation.

Locks as described. Staple part of child proofing one's house. They have worked well so far and prevented little one from opening drawers, stuck on well and appear durable but not too bulky. Easy to fit once you understand how to use the mount/guide. Good value for money. I would recommend these magnetic safety locks.

Exhibit A as to why amazon reviews can't be trusted. Simply, the mechanism that keeps the latch up, and therefore locked, simply isn't good enough. As you can see in the video, if you close the door, the latch will initially grip, proving that everything was fitted correctly, but once left to relax, the latch will drop and the door is unlocked. In addition, while the applicator is decent for the up-down-left-right fitting, how deep to fit it is complete guesswork. The upper sticker has to be fitted first and the door closed onto it, but misjudging that by even a few mm, coupled with the weak latch, means doors won't lock. I fitted 3, none worked. I'll concede an element of user error as I figured it out, but if none of 3 attempts work, it indicates either a faulty product or one which is overly difficult to use. I'd send it back if I handed used 3 latches and 4 hooks

Once you've read the instructions this product is easy to install the adhesion is strong and fits perfectly. Appearance of little stickers is cute and compatible for cupboards and drawers. Stops little people from dangerous items.

Die Hoffenbach Magnetische Kindersicherung verspricht hier die Rettung – sie verschwindet komplett im Inneren. Ich habe das 12er-Set mit 3 Schlüsseln im "Papa-Härtetest" geprüft. Das Konzept: Unsichtbar & Clever Das Faszinierende an diesem System ist, dass man von außen absolut nichts sieht. Keine Plastikbänder, keine Riegel. Die Verriegelung sitzt innen und lässt sich nur durch den magnetischen Schlüssel von außen entriegeln. Der "Zauber"-Faktor: Man hält den runden Magneten einfach vor die Schranktür, es macht leise "Klick", und die Schublade geht auf. Für das Kind bleibt der Schrank wie von Geisterhand verschlossen. 🪄 Montage & Handhabung Im Set ist eine Installationshilfe (eine Art Rahmen) dabei, die das Ausrichten zum Kinderspiel macht. Wer schon mal versucht hat, Millimeterarbeit im dunklen Schrankinneren zu leisten, wird dieses Teil lieben. Kleben statt Bohren: Die 3M-Klebepads halten extrem stark. Wie immer gilt: Vorher die Stelle mit Spiritus oder Glasreiniger entfetten. On/Off-Funktion: Ein genialer Bonus ist der kleine Schalter an jedem Schloss. Wenn das Kind abends im Bett ist oder man gerade die Spülmaschine ausräumt und ständig an den Schrank muss, kann man die Sicherung einfach deaktivieren. Der Schlüssel-Check Mit 3 Schlüsseln ist man gut aufgestellt. Wir haben einen am Kühlschrank haften (sie sind selbst magnetisch), einen außer Reichweite im Regal und einen als Ersatz. Tipp: Verliert man den Schlüssel, steht man vor einem Problem – oder man nutzt einen sehr starken Haushaltsmagneten als Notfalllösung. 🔑 Ein kleiner Haken? Die Sicherung funktioniert wunderbar bei Standard-Möbeln. Wenn man allerdings sehr massive Echtholztüren oder extrem dicke Fronten (über 35-40 mm) hat, stößt der Magnet an seine Grenzen. Da sollte man vorher kurz die Dicke der Türen checken. Zudem muss man sich kurz umgewöhnen, immer erst zum "Schlüssel" zu greifen, bevor man ein Glas aus dem Schrank holt. Fazit & Preis-Leistung Die Hoffenbach-Sicherung ist die "Luxus-Variante" der Kindersicherung. Sie bewahrt die Optik der Wohnung und bietet maximale Sicherheit. A very good product I fitted them to my kitchen cupboards fairly easily. They can be left unlocked or activated easily. They seems sturdy and are effective. I would recommend them.

Incredibly easy to install and they do the trick. Just make sure the surface is clean and dry when putting them on or they won't stick properly. We keep a magnet on the kitchen hood and one on the refrigerator. There is also a setting/slider on them that disables the locking mechanism while installed which is very convenient. So you can keep them unlocked while cooking for example so you don't have to constantly unlock and then when done you just flip the little slider and they will be locked on the next close.
