Not a bad Burr grinder.
This was quite hilarious really, I was looking at this product on Costco, but decided that the membership fee, delivery costs where possibly not worth it, and the added costs, just decided to buy through Amazon marketplace, only to find that it had been direct shipped from Costco!Well after it's first use, it jammed! I was glad I had looked it over and worked out how to remove the grinding disc. Slightly disappointed as I thought that the version I was buying was the conical burr grinder, this one seems to be the disc version. It seems to be working well now, good range of grinding size, from powder to very coarse, not as good as the my original Dualitt that broke, but if I get a couple of years out of it, I will be happy. The other annoying thing is the grind retainer seems to be massively effected by static electricity, so the grinds aren't collected properly and gets bits flying out when you remove the hopper, and the Shute stays full, then falls out when the hopper is removed.

Good buy for under £60. Nice and compact for a small kitchen.
Don’t know what sheerness means and not sure about thickness in regards to this order but have given 5 stars as I am really happy with this coffee grinder. I’ve had a few over the years but so far this rates one of the best for a budget of under £60. You can grind coffee according to your preference and these are printed on the machine so don’t have to keep looking through the instruction booklet when I want to change the grind. It also allows me to set it for how many cups I want to grind which I’ve not had before. The machine is slimline and compact so doesn’t take up a lot of space (although it is a bit flimsy). All in all a good buy.

A good grinder for the price, second time around.
My first grinder came with one of the grinding wheels loose. On starting the machine the wheels crashed together and ruined them both. The wheel is supposed to be removable for cleaning but I didn't expect it to be left unlocked at the factory. However, the seller, Redber sent me a replacement machine without any quibble. Since then I've been using the grinder for a few weeks. It gives me the very fine grind I was looking for, although it doesn't feel as robust as the Melitta grinder that lasted me more than 20 years. The coffee grounds stick to the side of the container but a quick tap releases most of them. Also, the grind adjustment knob is too small and fiddly, and not easy to read. Summing up, it does the job and is good value for the price.

Noisy!
Our Dualit coffee grinder broke after many years and well used. We decided to purchase this make and model. I wished I’d looked at the reviews, something I normally do, but in my haste to ensure we have our daily coffee purchased this make. It’s very noisy, messy when emptying the container as coffee seems to fly out on to the worktop. On the second go using this I put kitchen paper towel down on the worktop to capture any coffee. This helped a bit and a wet cloth afterwards to wipe up any surplus coffee. It’s cheaper than some other models, but at least we have fresh coffee each day.

A great budget option. Still going strong 18 months later.
I've had this coffee grinder for the last 18 months and it's still going strong. It does the job and it's a low price. Of course, it could be better build quality, the plastic parts (lid and collecting box) feel a bit like they'd crackif you dropped them, but for the price it's really nothing to complain about. For the real connoisseur there could be some complaints about the consistency of grind (that is to say, there is some powdery stuff as well as larger particles), but I'd say this is a great budget option if you don't want to spend a fortune. I'm happy with it.

OK. Seems solid and reliable. Bit noisy.
This is surprisingly noisy for a small coffee grinder. I'd be worried about it annoying neighbors if I lived in a flat or a semi-detached with neighbors just through a wall or a floor. It does suggest that it's pretty powerful and should chomp through beans for a long time to come, though. Or maybe it's just badly designed and all of its parts grind together a lot and it'll break soon. Who knows? :/Seems to do the job for now, and I prefer it to my previous delonghi grinder, though :)

Excellent Coffee Grinder
Excellent grinder and matches our Melita coffee maker nicely. Produces well ground coffee beans consistently. This grinder is fairly quiet - NOT silent though - but depending on where you site it the noise varies. It does make some mess and the plastic bin for coffee gathers static electricity which adds to it. That is a minor complaint though.

Fantastic little coffee grinder
This is a brilliant little coffee grinder and has lots of settings to get the perfect grind and amount. I use it everyday and it performs fantastically. Cleaning is a bit fiddly but that may be the case for all grinders. Would definitely recommend it
