This thing is fantastic! It worked really well for me. I’ve never tried the real Airwrap so I don’t know how well it compares but I have watched a lot of videos of people using it and this thing seems to work exactly the same. Maybe the plastic isn’t as high quality as the real thing but that’s about it. My pic is from the very first time I used it, right after it arrived. I just wanted to fool around with it but it turned out so good! It only took about 15 minutes, though I didn’t start with super wet hair. My hair was dry and I wet it slightly with water in a spray bottle. Your hair should be about 80-90% dry for this to be able to do it’s thing. Otherwise your hair will be too heavy for it to get ‘sucked’ onto the barrel.I want to address a couple of the negative reviews. One person said that it wouldn’t stay attached. You are supposed to put the curling barrel in the adaptor and then turn it to lock it into place. You do have to use a bit of pressure when you’re turning it. Attach the barrel to the adapter first and then put it on your dryer. I didn’t have any issues with it falling off at all.The other complaint I saw is that it got too hot. It doesn’t if you know the correct way to use it. You are supposed to use heat but also use your cool shot button to set each curl. This is what keeps the curl from falling out! I probably did an equal amount of time for heat and cool on each curl. If you are using the cool shot and actually giving it enough time to cool and set the curl then the attachment is also cooling down with each curl too. So I’m not sure how it could ever get too hot if you are using it correctly.I have used this a couple times now and this is my full routine, starting with wet hair:1. Apply volumizing product - I use Amika Thicc and apply it to all my hair but you could also just use a volume mousse on your roots.2. Apply heat protector - I use Drybar Liquid Glass as it also helps smooth any frizziness.3. Rough dry hair to 80-90% dry - I mostly dry my hair upside down to get volume, tilting my head around in various ways to get volume on the sides too.4. I then apply a little bit of Olaplex #7 bonding hair oil for a little more smoothing and heat protection.5. I section out my hair into four equal sections (front, back, left, right) and then start curling, first with heat and then setting each curl with the cooling shot. I use my hand to feel the barrel and curl to make sure it’s totally cool before I turn off the dryer and release the curl.6. After each section I spray with a workable hold hairspray, I use the Wella Eimi one.7. After the whole head is done I turn upside down and gently shake the curls out and then I spray the whole head again with hairspray.8. After hairspray is dry I take a *tiny* bit more of the Olaplex oil and lightly smooth it over the curls to add a little shine. And then I’m done!

These attachments work well but could be better. They are completely worth it though because the price point is amazing!

Soooo happy I didnt have to spend $500 on a Dyson air wrap. I LOVE my Dyson, don’t get me wrong! They are amazing! I have the original hairdryer and an Airstrait but I didn’t want to buy another Airwrap, my daughter had to have mine hahah! I only used the curls part so these attachments work and fit perfectly with my regular Dyson. I use it on the lowest settings and it’s amazing. I just use it to add a bit of volume. Love love love!

Saved me so much money! I can use mission blow dryer as an airwrap. It works seamlessly, just like the Dyson airwrap and for way less money. Gives me a nice blow out look!

I waited too long to try this and I can’t return! One barrel is hard to lock in place. The other doesn’t lock in at all. When I tried it, it gets too hot within 1 minute that I can’t touch it. I rarely make bad reviews but for this I should get a refund!

These curled my hair but wouldn’t lock on and would get extremely hot. If you are on a budget it does the job.

Happy I purchased. Didn't need the adapter piece for the Dyson I have. Works as described.

PRO: Overall, I love this product. It is so easy to curl the hair with this attachment. I would have preferred to buy from Dyson but they're not getting me for another $600 when I already spent $400 on the dryer. So, this is a great price point too!NEUTRAL: On the stars, I rated this a 1 for 'drying power' because it is not a drying tool. This is a strange question for this product.CON: Before deciding to purchase, I dismissed other reviewers' comments about this getting too hot because, well it's a heat styling tool. However, after using it, I agree. Because you have to move the lock/release button in order to switch between the clockwise and counter-clockwise attachments (which is necessary during the styling process to make your curls look even), you are forced to touch a spot that is very hot, as well as hold a hot barrel to remove it. I've seen some ads for similar products with the user wearing heat gloves. I just use a towel in the bathroom to pop it off and a nail to move the release button. It's really not too bad, just an inconvenience.

You may need to adjust the temperature depending on your hair type.

Ok so I was sceptical about these but yep they work! I actually own a airwrap so I know how the curlers are supposed to work and these things do exactly the same job. Definitely worth buying, but you need a Dyson hairdryer as the magnetic part that helps connect the barrels fits the hairdryer.

I ended up returning my shark to get this to add to my Dyson blow dryer, and it works great

These fit the description perfectly. They fit the appliance and work very well to curl your hair. Great value and easy to use. Sturdy plastic.
