Perfect for steamed puddings.
I made my Christmas puddings in these. As they have lids, there is no need to faff about with the usual crimped greaseproof paper, foil & string malarkey. I cooked my puddings in the slow cooker but these are also ideal for cooking them in a pan on the hob, or in the microwave. Very useful little bowls for storing things in the fridge or freezer too.

Very good
I bought a few in a number of sizes to replace our old discoloured, misshapen and lidless bowls. I was apprehensive at first when buying these because of the low price, but was pleased by the quality when they arrived. The lids fit securely and apart from being pudding bowls they can also be used for storage around the kitchen.

Perfect!
This 1 pint pudding basin made a perfect Christmas pudding! I steamed it for 4 hours on top of a canning grate and it was perfect. I covered the top of the pudding with a piece of buttered wax paper and the. Put the lid on. I wrapped the entire basin with plastic wrap twice and aluminum foil twice on top. I tied with a string. The pudding wasn’t soggy or wet, and it was just perfect! The lid stayed on the whole time, I had no issues with it.

Misled by Seller and Product Description.
Nothing wrong with the bowl. But ordered twelve, (stated box quantity), as per description, and received only one.

Useless without the lids
I ordered two and the both lids were missing.

Taille incorrecte !
J'ai commandé le conteneur 9 x 12 x 16 cms comme le publicité dit. J'ai reçu un conteneur qui mesure 8 x 9 x 13 cms.J'ai noté que tous les conteneurs soit demi-litre soit 2,3 litres sont marqué la même taille. Je crois que le problème n'est pas la faute du fabricant mais la faute d'Amazon.Le modèle KCPUD 1 est de 1 Pint (demi-litre) et ne pas 1 litre ! Décu !
