Neato Robotics 945-0129 Battery, Regular

My neato which is now 7 years old! was getting senile. Forgetting to clean, getting old and grumpy. This new battery restored original vigour. This is the third battery.

Battery kept going flat on Neato cleaner. Every time we went to use it, it didn't last well. New battery was easy to fit and brought it back to life again.

Fit perfectly into my Neato BotVac - its exactly the same kind of battery that came with it when I bought it.The power clip is extremely fiddly - I found it very tricky to get the old one out so I could put this new one in... I managed to do it in the end though.

After just over a year of at least 3 days per week cleaning, Botvac had started giving me an error telling me to "open dirt bin and push switch down to on", even though the switch was already on. Neat online chat & subsequent email support was excellent, running through some possible cures which didn't end up solving the problem, so their final suggestion was that the battery needed replacing.Easy replacement job involving a couple of screws and disconnect of old battery, reverse procedure to install this new battery and all done with 5 minutes. Went through procedure stated by Neato for activating a new battery within the Botvac's menus and all has been good since. Error has stopped appearing, Botvac continues happily doing it's scheduled cleaning.

Amazon are selling this as compatible with the D3, but the battery is physically longer then the original Li-ion battery. While it will attach and fit inside the cavity, the cover is molded in such a way that it cannot be put back on with the replacement inside. Beware and do not buy the NiMH version, especially as returning it is almost impossible due to courier battery restrictions.

Genuine Neato replacement, working fine,I previously tried another aftermarket one as couldnt find geniune and the robot just couldnt seem to charge it and the moment it came off the base it said "battery low, return to charging station", so Id recommend not wasting money on other non genuine types.

Had the "Please open my dirt bin & push switch DOWN to ON." error message on my botvac. First bought an unbranded battery that didn't solve the issue, so sent it back. Then replaced the battery with this one and solved it. No problems, the robot does the cleaning like a new machine, no stops for further chargings.

I am sure it is good but didn’t fit my botvac connected. Had to order another one. Check for your model before you buy. A bit misleading to claim that it fits all Neato botvac connected models
