Definitely worth a go for fingerstyle guitarists.
These are not going to be for everyone, but they're definitely worth trying, especially if you've struggled with traditional metal picks. Unlike those, these work by fitting over the finger but under the nail which means that for fingerstyle guitarists it's much more like playing with your nails. My experience was that for about ten minutes I could do virtually nothing - but after that the improvement curve was pretty steep. They don't have the satisfying sound you only get with metal on metal; you're not going to sound like Jack Rose or Daniel Bachman playing with these. But they're louder than just skin and nail, and allow you to do some interesting things you can't really do any other way I've found.A few tips/caveats.1 Don't be tempted by cheaper ones available, ahem, elsewhere. They're made of totally unsuitable brittle plastic with no give that will just snap rather than stretch round your fingers. Seriously, don't: these are cheap enough to take a punt on and no price is a bargain if it goes straight in the bin.2 These are *very* small. If you're wondering whether you need small or medium, you almost certainly need medium. They do stretch a bit with use though.3 They wear down over time, so you'll need to replace them - probably after a few months.4 Though it's not clear, these are only really meant for fingers and are meant to be used with a traditional thumb pick. (However, I cram one over my thumb and it actually works pretty okay for me.)5 How reliably these stay in place depends on your nails. If you struggle to grow them, you may have trouble. Especially live, because if one of these slips out of place mid song it's a real struggle to play without putting it back.

Yes, they are small
I'd always thought I have small hands for a guitarist, so started with the "small" size in the absence of any dimensions. I think they could be workable, but the only comfortable fits is on my 4th fingers; I can get one on the index finger, but its very, very tight. The internal diameter is about 12 mm. Now to try the Large, or XL.

Good product - you have to explore whether or not it is the right choice for you personally.
Exactly as expected. I'm not sure that this is going to be the best solution for me, but it is promising.
