Q: I have scrolling lines when in the menu screen, what's the fix for this?

Make sure all the right plugs are connected the correct way and to the right thing, make sure all connections are solid. I'm sure when I first connected mine I had a similar thing and it was something to do with the connections - something was plugged in the wrong place. Make sure it's switched correctly to PAL (or NTSC if that's what you need). If all that fails and you are still getting scrolling lines suggest you get a replacement.

Q: How long does it record for on an sd card ?

Depends on the size of the card. I wasn't happy with the product and bought a tetra byte sized dvr system, which records over a month non stop.

Q: Can l use this device between reverse car camera and a simple dash monitor

Yes - that's exactly how I had mine set up. Worked perfectly. Just remember that the image will (probably) be reversed if using a reverse parking camera.

Q: Does it have "loop record", so when the memory is full, it overwrites the earliest files ? Thanks

Yes, I use mine on loop recording and it works fine.
