Primal Freeze Dried Raw Dog Food Nuggets, Beef, 14 oz

This is definitely a pricey dog food, but I honestly think it’s worth it. My dog really enjoys eating it, and I’ve been happy with how he does on it. His bowel movements have been healthy and consistent, which is something I really value when choosing his food. I also like that it feels like a clean, straightforward diet. I feel good knowing I’m feeding him something with quality ingredients rather than a bunch of unnecessary extras. It costs more than I’d ideally like to spend on dog food, but seeing how much my dog enjoys it and how well he does on it makes it worth the splurge for us.

My dog is an extremely picky eater who normally seems fairly unmoved by dry food. That is, until I started adding these nuggets, now she gets very excited for her daily meals. The texture is easy to break up and the bag is a perfect size to keep her stocked through the whole month. I'm also very happy about the quality of the nuggets, as well as the healthy ingredients. I also appreciate the options when it comes to eatability - I've only actually hydrated one of them initially, one whole nugget is the perfect size to crumble on top of her bowl as is.

My 2 dogs really like this. I have a four month old Yorkie and an eight year old Shi-Tzu. The 8 year old has a lot of allergies. Now the puppy wants it, too. From what I have read it is ok to give it to both of them. I was having to cook all the food my Shi-Tzu could eat and now I don't have to cook as much.

Both my dogs eat this as their primary meal.. I just wish it was not so expensive.

Love the product - my dog is 11 and this is all she’s ever eaten. I am concerned however that the product formula has changed and that the bricks are now extremely hard to break apart. I hope it doesn’t affect her digestion and good health in the long run. She has done well and is healthy and happy- I would hate to think that a change in this wonderful formula would be the cause.

Is a healthy food for seniors dogs

I'm so sad . I bought this for my dogs because I love them and I wanted to get them good food. One I had to put to sleep about 10 days ago. But at the time I didn't think that it was this food that was the problem. But now I know. I just bought more a couple days ago my other dog, and now she us acutely sick. I'm so sad and to make it worse I spent every single last penny I had trying to save my other dog and have nothing left to even take this dog to vet now. I'm so sad and angry at myself for letting this happen. This is how it evolved dog started having diarrhea, then dog started throwing up, then dog cant eat, lethargic, then can't drink, lab work reveals off the chart wbc, neutrophils as well. Radiographs show possible pancreatitis , gastrointitis but no one really knows. I took my dog for 2nd and 3rd opinions. The only way for them to figure out what's really going on, the only way that things may improve is exploratory surgery but guess what they say more than likely the chance of your dog making it through surgery and recovering is less than 30% .but without he will die for sure. My dog is now sitting on my mantle in ashes. He was completely fine prior to eating this food. I'm so angry at my self , my dogs are like my kids . I had no idea , it was the food. Now I know. My girl dog was completely fine before I started feeding this to her. I'm so hurt and angry at myself. I just bought a bag for her a couple days ago and she is laying beside me burning up not well . I have no money left to do anything cause I tried my hardest to fix my other dog.

My dogs eat every bite of their meals every day. Primal is nutritious and easy to prep. Just crumble and add water.

Great product and my dogs love them however, I can get 14oz bag for the same price as this one.

I have two wonderful Lakeland Terriers. Lily Astrid 11 years old (named after Warren Buffett's second wife) and Oliver Buffett 3 years old. Lily is extremely picky, OlieBee much less so. Lily accepts to eat Primal Nuggets without complaining. I am glad that Primal Nuggets is her brand.

My little dog is very particular about her food and she loves this. The ingredients are amazing and she loves the taste.

I have a very fussy eater, a 2 year old Pekingese and had tried almost every type of dog food on the market. Then this was suggested by my local Pet food store and he loved it...ate all up and licked the bowl! It's a little more expensive than the other brands but the quality is first rate and my little Augie Dawgie is worth it!
