Signature Arabica - Great Taste Award Winning - ESE Coffee Pods - 100

We've had an espresso machine for years and it's always sat in the back of the cupboard because frankly it's a bit of a messy thing to use. One day we started talking about laying out a hundred quid or so for a Nespresso machine, but decided to give some ESE pods a go first. They make using a standard espresso machine as easy as any of the big brand options, with the added benefit of a fully biodegradable aside from a small foil bag that keeps each pod fresh.So what about these in particular? Well, having tried a number of brands and varieties - including the puregusto selection pack - we've found these signature pods to be a nice balance. The flavour is smooth enough for my preferred Americano, full enough to add milk and has enough hit to get us going in the mornings.A great option; well done puregusto.

Good price and easy to use, just a little more expensive than my previous choice (not now available)

Great tasting coffee pods and I consider excellent value. Not the cheapest but best quality at the price. We have an Illy Espresso machine and these pods save us lots compared to Illy.

Great tasting espresso 9 times out of 10 however for some reason a proportion of the pods produced a very pale weak brew Might be my machine (Breville) or poor quality control. Not had this problem with other brands

I grind coffee beans at home as and when, whenever I make a brew. These ESE pods are quite pricey for what they are, probably because those tassimo-style ones are more popular. But we use them exclusively with our Handpresso pump-machine when we go travelling and camping. For this use, these pods are perfect. No waste, no mess.I'm no coffee expert here, but these pods have a very rounded flavour with a hint of nutty sweetness to complement the bite. Much, much better than the Caffé Carbonelli ones I bought before, and which I'm happy to say are not available at the moment.Will deffo buy again if they're available. Fingers crossed.

I’ve been trying a lot of paper pods over the past months for my Breville coffee machine & these are stand-out. These pods are simple to use, smell extremely fresh and they taste really smooth and create a great crema. These beat the Illy Classico’s which I’d put in second place, followed by the Black Donkey brand in third. I’ll try and add a photo later on it I can.

The media could not be loaded. 90% of the pods burst in the machine filling the mug with watery, gritty and undrinkable coffee. I told customer service about it and they said they would get back to me. After a week (and me chasing them) they suggested I rub the pods in my hand first. I have a boxful of unusable pods, no offer of a refund or replacement etc. Waste of money, unusable dodgy product, terrible customer service.
