Silverline 273233 Rotary Laser Level Kit 30 m Range

I purchased one of these several years ago and like others have said, the rotating part stops and starts and also it wasn’t all that accurate.I purchased again and what a change, super free rotating lazer head and very accurate.This was set up aginst my Stabila conventional spirit level that also has a lazer in the end part, its very accurate, when I compared the red laser dots between the two the difference was only 1-2mm on reference posts at about 6m distance apart. Very good value for money and I would say a lot better that the new so called self leveling lazers.

Very cheap plastic,looks and feels like cheap plastic toy. Line blurred with the vibration when speeded up . Tripod not strong enough to hold it steady. MY be ok for a one off diy job. Yes it's cheap but could put problems right for little rise in price . Have now gone for a bosh pll 360 at £101 yes £63 but but known quality ( both from Amazon. Great service.

Quality as expected for price. Accuracy ok for what we needed but a bit too much work to use regularly but fit for purpose

Initially the level wouldn't spin but after a little oil spray it works and is quite accurate for a cheap laser level especially when used with a detector,I wouldn't use it for any work over 10m without resetting. Not a bad diy gadget.

Wanted this to check our builder was doing his job right.

Not really what I thought it would be, as a rotary laser it is really only good for aligning brickwork or other construction horizontally. Making sure both sides of a building are at the same level etc. No much good for using to level a product on one wall. WIsh I had bought the DeWalt now.

Laser rotary action has stopped working within 2 weeks. Has only been used for 5 minutes.

This is a very low cost level considering the price of professional laser levels, so you get what you pay for. It works fine to 10m but the dot becomes larger and won't be practical at 30m. Worth the money, 3 yr guarantee.
