DC Comics NOV150323 Icons Joker Death In The Family Action Figure

I'm not a collector of DC Comics models, or even much of a fan of the Batman comics themselves, but since watching the original TV series I've found The Joker to be a fascinating character.Having started collecting models recently I knew I wanted an iconic version of Joker. NECA and Hot Toys have both made stunning Ledger versions, but not what I was looking for. Another company has done some impressive Arkham versions, but there's something slightly off about them. I like Leto's take on Joker, but it's not iconic just yet.This figure just ticks the boxes. I've always seen The Joker as a gangster, and here we get the fedora hat, coat and tails, spats, and tommy gun. Add the green hair, purple clothes, white face, big grin, and joke flower, and it really does nail the image of The Joker I have in my head.The interchangeable hands are a problem. The gun is designed to be posed with two gripping hands, but the left hand is just a fist. Worth considering. He has two weapons (the gun, and the 'Death in the Family' crowbar) but can only hold one. No removable hat either, which is a shame.However, I gave this five stars because I love it. There's no pivoting waist, but despite that it has a lot of articulation that makes it easy to personalise. I've found my iconic Joker figure.

Sculpt and paint job are great. Movement is slightly hindered by his long coat and the fact he can only hold things in his left hand is slightly disappointing.

Too many small parts for my 4 year old. But the product it good.

Item was delivered on time and even had a few extra bits not mentioned in the description so a nice surprise. Excellent figure with amazing detail.
