Installed this in my boys’ off-brand electric jeep. Installed in minutes, excellent fit with my 18v Milwaukee batteries. After about 2 weeks of use, we burned out the 12v control box (pushing 18v through it was more than it could handle)- I’ve since replaced the control box and replaced this adapter with an identical one that came with an 18v to 12v stepdown converter (it was cheaper to buy the combo rather than add a standalone stepdown converter). It’s working flawlessly. I’m saving this unit for use on another project.

Worked well, don’t leave the contacts out in the weather though. They will corrode. I mounted one of these to my snowblower with a work flood light and it works great. I can snowblow for an hour with the light on and not use enough battery to show it was on. Install was simple. I ended up riveting it to a plate. If I could change one thing, I’d get a cover for the off season usage. Thank you!

I bought this as a part of a DC-DC power supply, with the battery source being an 18v Makita power tool battery. This piece is going to be used to attach and detach the battery from the supply when it needs to be charged. I found that the fit was way tighter than it needed to be but it does work. Best price I could find on a suitable adapter. Seems well made.
