I used to keep a fan next to the bed to provide while noise while I slept. For traveling, it's always been somewhat problematic. I read about this product while traveling last week and had it delivered before I got home to try it out. Man, why haven't I done this much earlier.I tried all the sounds immediately and agree with some other reviewers about the rain sound. No repeating, just smooth sounding rain to help me drift off and keep my asleep. It's only been a week and I already love it.The trickiest part is placing it in a place where it sounds best in the bedroom. But if all my troubles are such, life would be wonderful. I love this thing.

This sound/sleep unit is fantastic. Sound quality is seamless, unlike the unit I replaced which had looping sound variances that were annoying. I prefer the white noise and this is perfect for me. You can't go wrong with this Big Red Rooster White Noise Machine. Easy to turn on/off and volume easily changeable. Range of volume is great from low to high. Haven't used the timer.

I have a hard time going to sleep in places that are either new or just a different setting (country vs city). This allows me to shut down my brain enough to relax and go to sleep.

It went to work the 1st night! The quality of the sound machine is lacking, feels cheap but does what it is supposed to do.

Bought 2 of these total. One white one black. Wanted to replace the old rainbow water air purifier thingys. They would get gross after a couple weeks. These help cancel out the noises that would keep you up at night. I’d recommend to anyone looking for something like this. Affordable as well.
