I had high hopes for this headset. It sounds good, but people I'm talking to say they can barely hear me. The noise canceling must be so good on this that it cancels the person wearing it too. I should have returned it before the 30 days, but really haven't used it but a few times and finally decided it must be the microphone.UPDATE: I was able to return it by calling Amazon directly. I checked with Yealink's website and discovered this headset is not compatible with the Poly VVX x50 series as advertised by this vendor. It is only compatible with two Poly models, none of which I have. The two additional stars should go to Amazon for best customer service ever.

After using the Yealink YHS36 Dual Telephone Headset for my office work, I’ve found it to be a solid addition to my setup. The headset is impressively light, which is a big plus since I often have it on for extended periods. The ear cushions are soft, making the experience comfortable even during long calls. The sound quality has been reliable, allowing me to hear and be heard clearly, which is crucial for my daily tasks.One thing that stood out to me is the convenience of the cable, which allows me to quickly step away from my desk without needing to take off the headset or worry about dropping a call. This small detail has proven to be incredibly useful in my busy work environment. Overall, the Yealink YHS36 has fit seamlessly into my routine, offering both comfort and dependable performance.

Flimsy

These are not. I repeat. ARE NOT noise canceling headphones. If you wfh and are looking for headphones that cancels background noise on your microphone please save your money and stay away from these. Learn from my mistake.

This business phone system headset works well, even if you do not have a Yealink or Avaya or Polycom system. I used it on a MItel system and it worked fine. Every feature worked well. The ear cups are smaller than audio headphones but they are large enough to isolate the sound for you. The mic rotates up and down so it is easy to use it and flip it out of the way. The quick disconnect cable was handy but for the most part, I did not muse it that much. The cable length is fine, and you get ample cable on both sides of the connector - no problems using it a few feet away from the phone. If you are looking for a wireless solution, this is not the headset for you. The unit was easy to fit to my head and has the usual adjustment range to fit almost any head size. The sound quality was excellent. The volume is controlled through your phone base, not through the headset itself. It is expensive but it works flawlessly and is built to last.
