Excellent at removing damp in the air in shed
Not a very exciting purchase to be honest. The product has done the job it was bought for very well which was helping to remove damp from a leaking shed. I placed several of the little packets around the shed and roughly a week later the damp feel and smell has gone so I am very pleased. I have also placed a packet in various tool cases and bags to help protect against rust (but also a good idea to give metal tools a touch of wd40 if you have a damp shed or garage). As I am sure you know this stuff is designed to protect sensitive equipment or tools from moisture and damp and for me it done the job well and I am pleased with my purchase. Will definitely be buying again once the lifetime of my current packets expires.

Damp be gone!
Ordered these with a view to stop condensation on the inside of windows in the spare bedroom. This particular product has ten sachets with each sachet measuring 12cm by 7cm.I put two sachets on the window sill and they have done the job of stopping the condensation.Sure, they may not look nice, but for a spare room which doesn't get used, they do the job! When they are damp they can be dried out on a radiator and used again.

Large Bags perfect
We had been looking for something to help stop damp underneath the drawers of our bed. We have a parquet floor and the bed is only about 3 inches off the floor so moisture forms overnight from our body heat and then cannot evaporate very well in the confined space. This has caused mould to form on the underside of the drawers creating a musty smell in the bedroom which despite my best efforts, window open ectera was defeating me.I treated the underside of the drawers with a mould spray, which killed it stone dead, then added a sachet to each drawer and placed a sachet on the floor under each drawer. The room smells quite fresh now and I am hoping this will do the trick.

1KG Silica Gel
I see this as good value although I haven't had chance to evaluate it fully yet. I do know that Silica Gel absorbs moisture as I have used other forms of Silica Gel as in camera equipment, 'fridge balls etc.I have every confidence in my purchase but there is one thing I think it's short of and that is being able to see, by the colour change, that the gel neads re-vitalising. Maybe weigh the package first, and weigh it again when you think it has absorbed as much as it can. This is intended for leaving in the car whilst outside in all conditions, and to keep condensation down. The delivery was excellent.TA

They work
I know they work ... I have been using them for 30 plus years in S Africa because of the humidity . ( they can be put in the oven on a very '' low '' heat to dry out the crystals and then re-use them )

Good sized sachets
I have tools in a cupboard, in a fairly damp room. The tools are all in their own boxes also, so I put one 100g sachet in each box. I feel 100grams is large enough to combat any damp building up and condensing on my tools.

Good capacity sachets - using them for out of season duvets and blankets
I have had trouble finding 100g sachets of silica gel so I was rather happy to have come across it.I have had smaller silica gel sachets from 7dayshop before and they worked well for out of season clothes - they have prevented musty smell that clothes stored in plastic bags can get. So I decided to get these larger ones for storing out of season duvets and blankets. So far, no issue with musty smell.

Storage solution
We want to store some things like photos, documents etc in the attic and these seem like the perfect solution to keeping damp away. Good price and delivered on time. I hope they do the job.
