Did exactly what I needed it to do. Helped get the pool up and running after first use.The hardest part I find with shock is getting all the calculations right for our sized pool.Very useful to do periodically when you know the pool isn't going to be used for a day or two.MAKE SURE TO TAKE OUT ANY OTHER CHLORINE PRODUCTS BEFORE SHOCKING - it can release chlorine gas otherwise.Great value for money

Does the job in shocking the water well. Just be careful not to get any splashes on your clothes when dissolving it in the jug, prior to adding it to the tub; it will bleach your clothes!

Got this to bung in when our pools been used for the best part of a day. I put it in after skimming the top & bottom of the pool of debris before putting the cover on it for the night. Leave the filter on for a few hours so it can flow around all of the pool. Does the job well but the kids say it does make their eyes sting if they swim underwater in it the next day. I would order it again.

Used this stabiliser-free shock treatment instead of stabilised chlorine due to hot tub stabiliser levels getting too high. Working so far. Anyone else having this problem I would recommend using normal chlorine until stabiliser gets to about 50-100ppm, then swap it out with this non-stabilised treatment - this solved a problem that no one seemed to be able to help us with.
