Great but of kit, nice and light weight, I have 4 DeWalt cordless tools, and 3 different battery sizes, I use this on my dcd796 drill most, but works okay on my circular, and jigsaw too, bought it as a stop gap whilst charging, but no need.Don't bother with the 1.3 or 1.5 AH batteries, they weigh the same, but for the price difference, don't do it, the longer run time makes all the difference.If it's any help got my 2 AH battery for £23 on offer.Buy it, it's a good deal.

Bought this battery in September as a spare for my Dewalt drill. Used it once to check if it was ok, then charged it. I went to use it about 8 weeks later and it had no charge. Put it in the charger and it won't charge. The battery was made in Korea, my other batteries were made in Malaysia. This makes me think it is a fake! As Amazon gives you a return window of 28 days on the battery, I'm left out of pocket for something that does not work. Don't buy batteries though Amazon !!!!

It's ideal for what it was purchased for, it gives enough power whilst my 3.0 Ah battery is charging. Low cost option from another 3.0 Ah battery. Good price and quick delivery.

As most of these it works out the box you have about 75% charge.i think dewalt have got on a really good product range with these, lets be honest most guys like stuff that looks and feels right, its not just a battery, when i got this out the packet, I did think wow this looks and feels great... its a battery all said and done, omg, but, it just looks so sexy...I tried it on a couple of my units and then charged it, charged in no time and makes tools so light, but still has the same power as any other battery obviously for a limited time.I have 2 other 4 Ah batteries and decided to get this as a back up and to power the torch or USB charger if I need it.Also allows you to get the units in smaller spaces.Update;Used this battery in anger at the weekend. I installed new fascia cover boards and new guttering front and back of the house. I swapped this battery back and forth between my multitool for cutting guttering and impact driver for installing gutter brackets and removing old stuff, after I had finished about 6 hours of work still one bar showing on the battery, amazed at how long it lasted, the bonus was the lightmess it made the tools as I was working up a ladder the whole time.

Great as a spare. Charged it a few times now and seems to be better than the more expensive one now a few years old. Obviously the charge don’t last as long as the larger batteries but if you’re needing a spare for long jobs this is perfect.
