Great game
Bought as a gift for my partner. It was an instant hit since we spent several hours playing the game.

A good game good for group play
This is such a simple concept for a game. It's basically a 'would you rather' game where the players have to guess what answer the cardholder may have said from a choice of two answers. If you guess correctly, you receive a wick point. The first player to get 10 wick points wins. As the game is called awkward, I was expecting some of the questions to be a little more daring, and although there are definitely some uncomfortable ones, the majority are not that bad at all. I think the only people I would feel uncomfortable playing with are my parents, especially if I got the 'Which parent did you inherit the best genes from?' or any of the ruder ones lol. You will no doubt find plenty of questions that you genuinely cannot choose an answer to, so end up just picking one even though it is completely untrue. I guess that's what makes it awkward too though lol. There are loads of question cards, which is great as it'll be a good while before you start getting repeat questions, but I wish they had put simple dividers in the box to separate the question cards from the wick point ones and A/B ones. I can see over time if they get put back in wrong they will all end up getting mixed up and that will make it a pain every time you play by having to sort through them. All in all, this is a simple but fun game that will bring you a good few laughs. I'm just not sure I'll be getting it out at my parent's house on Christmas day this year :) 4/5

good group game although some of the questions are a little tame
Awkward by Snap Fingers Click=======================This is the tabletop version of the video game Snap Fingers Click first released back in 2018. It is meant to be a controversial personality quiz where players take turns to pick a question card and the rest have to guess whether the answer to the question is one of the two choices listed on the question card, marked A or B. Those that guess correctly get a points card, what they call a wick card. First to ten wick cards win.Prompts tend to steer along the slightly uncomfortable and conversation-stirring, without appearing to veer into fully offensive territory unlike some other “adult” party games. While some of the questions would definitely make you uncomfortable if your parents were playing or even within earshot, most of the questions are quite tame, while others are thought provoking and can lead to interesting discussions. If you want a more risque set of questions, you will need to get the ‘Lovers expansion’ pack or the ‘Blank Card expansion’ packs. The card is of good quality, although the box could have been made with a plastic insert to keep the question cards, the wick cards and A/B answer cards separate - otherwise you just put them all together. All in all a good group game, although if it was added into the evening after a few rounds of drinks it makes play more interesting. Currently selling at 29.95

Nicely presented novelty game
First impressions of this party game are good, with the amusing artwork and a modern attractive box design. Inside, there is a short manual and the playing cards. The rules for the game are quite simple, so this is an easy game to get into. Essentially this is a would you rather? game, answering questions with an A or B response. There are lots of question cards, which can keep the game going for a while. I don't find this game to be quite as controversial as billed, as only a small percentage of the cards have a dark subject matter. Regardless, most of the cards here are quite entertaining and provoke some fun responses and discussion. This is definitely an entertaining and well presented game. I do feel the novelty appeal of this is a bit short lived, as it's not the kind of game that I would replay over and over. At an RRP of £30 this is quite expensive, but I do feel this is worth a go if you have a group of friends who enjoy these adult party games as it does make for a fun time while drinking.

Familiar to fans of the video game
Snap Finger Click have done a great job at adapting their awkward video game to a more conventional card game. The game translates naturally to a physical form and even expands it somewhat by allowing you to switch up the standard “house rules” with alternatives or your own switch ups.Depending on if you’ve played the video game - and then by how much, will likely steer how much time you’ll put into the card game. There’s not too many surprises for die hard fans of the game (it would of been nice to feel if this was more of a “1.5” version of the game before it’s inevitable sequel but it literally does feel like a real world version of the same game). That’s certainly not a bad thing though - and it’s landing on the tabletop allows for even more awkward moments from getting to play it with family members who wouldn’t go anywhere near a console.I’m really impressed with the the quality; there’s no thin paper or card used throughout and it doesn’t feel like any corners were cut, which is absolutely great and I think they’ve done a lovely job and putting a fun game together.

A fun game to play with friends (or family, if you're brave)
I played this game with a group of friends and we all had a good laugh with it. The majority of the questions aren't what I'd call controversial (perhaps we're too desensitised to filth) but there's definitely some awkward questions included which could make playing with family "interesting"!Personally I think £30 is quite expensive for this given that it has low re-playability but it's great to keep on the shelf for new and unsuspecting guests.

Nice game for 5+ friends, awkward for playing with parents
A bit expensive for a pack of cards. For this price i could buy a great game with wooden pieces and a lot of parts. But for a big party this game is brilliant especially when you play with your friends. I don't think i can play with parents, some of the questions are too awkward.Everything is well packed, nice durable box, simple instruction. Fast and funny game. But i don't recommend to play only with two people, absolutely not interesting. 5+ people would be the best option. So, it's a funny game for 5+ friends
