The wide dimension is the width. It's wider than it is high.

Hi! i am buying for my work place which has partition wall made of metal. can i stick it on the same and what glue should i buy?

You can stick it with glue that bonds paper to metal. Not sure about wallpaper glue. Something with a longer setting onset so you can manouver the pieces a little bit so they join perfectly.

There were none in mine either but I just pasted the back of the sections starting with top left, waited 5 mins for the paper to expand then pasted it on the wall. It's do-able with one person but easier with two. It looks like it wont line up at first but it will after the paper has contracted again so don't panic. Good luck and be brave
