This mop is so good and the replacement heads are long lasting. To get the old mop head off push the black handle down to the floor as far as it will go you can then slide it off and put the new one on. Just remember when you put the new mop head on pull the leaver back up.

I just bought this mop for our new house and can honestly say that it is the best one I've ever used. Much better than those traditional 'string' mops, not only does it fit perfectly in my small and narrow cleaning cupboard but the floor was dry 5 minutes after moping so you weren't left tiptoeing around the room for half an hour waiting for the floor to dry as per usual.Two thumbs up Lakeland! I bought the Squizzo bucket to go with it as due to it's slightly unconventional shape it doesn't fit in a standard round bucket. The caster wheels on the bottom make it easy to drag from room to room as you go. Spot on.

Hard on the user. This has too many sharp edges and you are in danger of losing a digit if not careful.Also, I could not get this mop to squeeze out. The push down handle, if with Herculean strength you can get it to move, does nothing. The picture looks as though the sponge segments are pushed together against a plastic bar by the triangular metal plate - but they aren't! this just seems like an Italian design feature.

Just what I needed, these are good mops and worth the expense of replacing the head with a genuine part
