Harley-Davidson Mason's Yard Sun Shield S05 3/4 Helmet with Drop Down Sun Visor - 98177-18VX

I've had this helmet for 2 weeks and ride a 2019 Street Glide CVO. I wanted a 3/4 helmet that could be used in hot Temps as a touring helmet. I've ridden around 500 miles with this helmet and even with sunglasses, when I get up to speed and need the wind off my eyes, the visor is perfect. It drops down with a flip of the finger and is perfectly clear with no distortion. The high rise on the back of the helmet means I'm not rubbing against my jacket collar. I can move my head freely at intersections and while riding and never feel restricted. I use the Boom Audio system on my CVO and can listen as clearly as in the car. This helmet helps filter wind noise really well, without needing ear plugs. The finish is good, and the inside fabric is very comfortable. When fitting the helmet, use the straps to pull the helmet open and it'll slip on nicely. I'm normally a medium/small and the helmet fits me tight, but comfortable. If you're on the border or medium to large, I'd suggest large.

The X-Large size fits comfortably, providing a snug yet non-restrictive feel, which feel great! As others have mentioned it is tight on my cheeks but after wearing it seemed to get better. The helmet feels lightweight and doesn't wear out my neck on long rides. This helmet strikes a perfect balance between style, comfort, and functionality. O It's an ideal choice for riders looking to upgrade from a half helmet, offering enhanced protection without compromising on aesthetics. Given its features and performance, it's a worthwhile investment for any Harley enthusiast.​

Item as described. Perfect size, very comfortable.

Looks great and I love the flip down visor, although I wish it served as a sun visor. The only downside I would say is that the XL size runs a bit small. But, that's the downside to ordering a helmet online. I like the helmet and hope it will loosen up a bit as I wear it.

Very nice helmet but must have been measured for children because my actual head measured doesn't fit this. Waited too long to send back. It's so tight it squeezes my cheeks together. Makes me look like a chipmunk!

I ordered a large, extremely tight but getting better after a few months. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is because the chin strap isn't long enough to secure it properly/completely...it won't reach the loop after going through the metal D rings , so it just points down in vertical position in the wind instead of going through the black belt loop that it will not even reach.
