Kenwood Blend-XTRACT 3-in-1 BL237WG Blender - White & Green [Energy Class A]

I was happily surprised to open the box and find that this appliance is made of solid plastic that feels strong and good quality. Not at all like the horrid flimsy,fragile, brittle plastic that so many domestic appliances are made of nowadays.I was also pleased with the versatility - there are 3 different blender/mixer/chopper cups with blades. I bought it for the blender option (making soups and sauces etc) but I've found myself making lots of smoothies instead!It required some concentration to read the manual and work out what bit fits where but I soon got the hang of it all.In use it's a powerful gadget and I've not found that I've needed to leave it on for any longer than the Kenwood recommended time to get the results I want. It was a big plus that the smoothie mixing cup doubles as a smart, robust drinking cup to-go (with a strong, leakproof lid) that you can take anywhere with you.It arrived well before stated delivery date, well packaged and with good instructions. I'm quite picky about the tools and gadgets I use in my kitchen and I'd definitely recommend this blender - it's well designed and made and good value.**Please note - I bought this from Amazon, it was about £9 cheaper with free delivery too. I don't know how my review has ended up on this seller's page.

Amazing bargain, I use this blender everyday, it is extremely easy to use and very reliable. In the single cup attachment, you can easily blend apples, nuts and slightly firmer fruit. In the larger Jug attachment you can make two smoothies and blend softer fruit. Also great to make your own hummus.I love this, its so easy to clean and quick to store away, I would highly recommend to everyone and will buy again in the future.

Really pleased with this blender, it does an awful lot and is good at it.Unfortunately the only downside is the number of jugs/cups and that they have different blades for each so I’ve got loads of parts to find room for. I’ve also lost a couple of the blades rendering the cup useless.Would be a lot better if they all used the same connector so could have one bottom blade.

I have made contact, several times, regarding this blender. I used it only only a few times. The rest of the time I spent in a cancer ward with our three year old. When I receive the response from the seller they said I had it for two months and it is my fault ware and tear. That tells me the sustainability is non existent. As soon as I and another effort to get in touch. The blender was taken from amazon and I couldn't find it anymore. Utter ridiculous and unacceptable. Almost £50.

Great blender, suitable for making soup, bread crumbs, baby food and lots other things. Easy to wash and keep clean. Good value for money, can always trust Kenwood products.

The product is very good. It has three jars, smallest one is good for dry grinding, making chutneys in small quantities, or grinding onions, garlic and ginger paste, middle one is for shakes with carrying cap, big one is really good for large quantities of shakes, making purees, blending etc. Motor is quite powerful for these jobs. Good value for money.

This one coming from an Indian household where the blenders are used extensively on a daily basis. The unit is quite sturdy and handles all wet and dry grinding requirments. However the jars are inferior quality and broke in the slots where it attaches to the base of the jar and the slots for the lids. Lasted 3 months

I have been making smoothies in it for the past two weeks. The operation is very easy and quick and it doesn't make a very loud noise. I haven't tried the grinder yet. There is a slight smell of burning when I operate it but I guess it will go away with time.
