3rd set of lights from this distributor with 2 failures. Different makes of lights sent so SPV must act as a shipper from China which is normal with this type of item. Bought the first set directly from them and had a run around trying to get a replacement. Bought this set through Amazon for added peace of mind and glad I did - very easy to return.It's a real shame - the lights are great when they work but this set had an issue with the connector plug near the solar cell not connecting properly. I could probably have taped it up in a position where it worked all the time but that really isn't good enough.I can only assume that they're so cheap to buy that the failure rate doesn't affect their margins but it's the hassle of taking them down and arranging to return that really annoying - why not source a different, more reliable product?

Do you not waste your money buying these lights they are total rubbish. Supposedly they come with a two year guarantee yet I can’t find anywhere to set up a return and get a refund for my money these lights are faulty and and under distance selling regulations I am legally entitled to have my money refunded! It pains me to even give them one star if I could give them zero stars I would be really pleased!

Was great at first but did not last more than one year. To be fair I left in in the garden permanently and the winter weather might have not been very kind to it, but being exterior lights I would have expected it to last a bit longer

Unfortunately my set of lights didn't work! I followed all the instructions and left them switched off to begin with, then switched them on on Friday, in readiness for them to be fully charged in this lovely weather -nothing! no light at all. On 8th May I requested a pre-paid label to enable me to return them for a full refund. I was told that i had to have a replacement under their two year warranty, I didn't want a replacement, I wanted to return the lights and have a refund. As of 21st May still no replacement, still no pre-paid returns label and still no refund! Not happy at all - if you receive faulty goods you are entitled to a refund - I asked for a refund and nearly two weeks later haven't had one! I will not be using this company again. STEER WELL CLEAR! I am off to Sainsbury's to buy a much cheaper set of lights which will no doubt work - I have given this lot up as a bad job and am out of picket - you live and learn.

I know that solar powered items need sun but on some slightly dull days the lights barely came on. My mistake and next time will go back to battery powered.

Very disappointed with these. After being only up for 3 months (into a 2 year guarantee) they have stopped working. As it’s outside of the 30 day returns window, I cannot find how to return these are the company page isn’t listed. Pretty when they worked, but totally disappointed. Seems to be very poor value for money

Bought three sets of these lights, but only two sets work. The third set worked for about two days then no more. I have ordered another set, but haven't swapped them out yet, so don't know if they work or not. Arrived quickly, and have had emails from the vendor asking if everything ok,but I haven't had time to reply.....I will do though and see if I can get a refund or replacement. The sets that do work, look lovely in my garden and last till the wee hours of the morning....

Disappointing product. It's a very long string of lights and at first I was very impressed with what you get for the money. But they didn't last a month. One day they simply failed to come on and then they never did again.
