Busy Garden (Campbell Busy Books, 6)

We have 5 of these Busy books and my son is a big fan, he loves lifting and pulling and pushing to see what happens. The others have been ripped (they are fragile) but this one is ok up to now. Not a favourite of the books but great anyway.

My granddaughter loves these books and Amazon was the only place I could get the whole series. The books are interactive with pull tabs and movement tabs ideal for little fingers with a buzzy bee to be found on each page

Good book my 19 month old loves it, just needs to be read under supervision, as lots of moving parts that can be ripped off.

Nice but broke quickly, unfortunately.

These books are fantastic, my little girl loves sitting reading them and using all the different tabs.

Bought for a 1.5 year old and it certainly looks like it can stand up to her little fingers.

My 22 month old daughter absolutely loved the book! Easy page requirs them to engage their give motor skills differently. Totally recommend it for a kid between the age of 15 months to 3yrs. Once your kid gets bored of the slide and pull you can switch the game to "can you spot the *mention some object from the buddy scenes*"

I like the idea of this book. You slide things back and forth to make objects move within the scene. This gimmick works particularly well with swings, tossing balls, and playing hide-n-seek. However, the book seems short with only 4 scenes and the front cover, plus there is no engaging story line. We will have to see what my 17 month old thinks about the book... but i think he may need to be a tad older with more of an imagination to get into this book. Overall, this book is the best in the series, because the actions are very clear, easily understandable by a little one, and are very well executed. I think if the writing and scenes followed more of a story and the actions played into that story line, then the book would have been more successful... but kids just randomly play in their yard without too much structure so this book fit that so a clear story line was not as missed in busy garden as it was in the other books in the series (builders, farm, and town). In fact, the simplicity of the book makes it more accessible to young children as there is less they have to stretch the imagination for.

ページ数は少ないけれど、色遣いや絵がとってもかわいくて娘も私もお気に入りの一冊です。 表紙にもあるように、仕掛けのつまみにははっきりとした色と矢印が書いてあるので私が数回動かして見せたら娘も興味深く何度も動かしていました。 つまみには穴があいているので娘の小さい指でも動かしやすいです。 文章は１、２行で、見開きのページの左右で、文章の終りの音が同じ感じなのでとても読みやすいです。 しかし娘には少し早過ぎたのか、最後のページの紙が薄くなっている所を破いてしまいました。 総合的にはとても好きなので、同じシリーズの本をも欲しくなりました。

Ich habe dieses Buch wegen Schiebefunktion gekauft und bin sehr damit zufrieden. Alles funktioniert einwandfrei! Das Buch hat 4 Doppelseiten und 5 Schiebeelemente. Es hat keine Geschichte, nur wenig Text (auf Englisch), aber das ist nicht schlimm. Man kann die Geschichte selbst ausdenken, wenn es nötig ist. Das Kind selbst ist mehr mit dem Schieben und Gucken beschäftigt. Die Bilder sind sehr schön und farbenfroh. Ich hätte mir mehr Schiebeelemente in dem Buch gewünscht, aber es ist an sich auch sehr schön und empfehlenswert.
