Easily added alternate hinge holes in cut down doors for my IKEA fitted wardrobes
I was a little concerned how to hold this square when to get an even finish and even considered borrowing a pillar drill. In actuality, Hard to see in the pictures but it has a central point like a flat wood bit so it easy to keep square even with a batter drill as long as you don't rush it. Took a couple of minutes per hole, taking my time, checking depth and avoiding any noticeable damage around the edges, Made a decent enough job of it. Would have given it 5 starts if it was designed with marks at the correct depth, instead I used the opposite end of my cheap digital calipers (pin the sticks out) to check the depth at multiple points around the hole and get an even depth.

Did the job, but not a ‘long lasting’ tool!
It was just about OK for the job I bought it for, but now is blunt!I needed a dozen holes in a kitchen worktop, to fit the underside clamps at the joints. The workshops are good quality ones from IKEA.The first hole was so easy, and I had to remember to stop sharpish before the cut went too far. After that it got slowly less efficient, and by the last hole I was having to stop and cool the cutter two or three times. It did the job, but it’s not much use now.

Very good bit.
Very good I only used it for two cabinet doors so don’t know longevity. But watch the point does not come through other side of door as it’s quite long. Measure precisely or do tiny pilot hole with ordinary drill bit and file a bit of the point off on the draper bit for security.

Cut holes slowly.
I'm not sure if this isn't terribly sharp or the marine ply I am using it on is particularity hard. Either way, it's cut about 8 holes which is what I needed it for fairly accurately so it's done the job I needed it to. Not sure how long it will last but as I bought it specifically for a certain diameter hole, I doubt I'll need it again.

Easy to use hole cutter
The hole cutter was very easy to use and to drill new holes for cabinet hinges. The centre point was perhaps a bit big and this made it slightly harder to keep the hole in the right place. Drilling on a firm surface and getting the bit spinning faster before I started made it easier to keep the hole where I wanted it. A nice bit!

Bought to re-site hinge hole that had been damaged. Works well.
Didn't realise you could buy hinge hole-cutters. A flatpack mdf door slipped off one of its hinges after a couple of years of use, messing up the hinge hole good and proper. I was trying to think of ways to attach a different hinge in the limited space available and came across this instead. Have just tried it out and am pleased with the result. It means the cupboard doesn't look unfinished any more. A good bit of kit that makes life just a bit easier.

Perfect holes everytime
I am adding a few cupboards to my kitchen and had to move the hinges on a door to the other side. I looked around and this seemed to be perfect for the job. It was. Its very strong and so simple to use. It also from a well known tool company so i had no hesitation in buying it. It does the job perfectly and allowed me to change the hinge. For the price you can't go wrong.

Great Hinge Hole Maker
So far so good.Draper is a pretty good quality company. For the price it’s done the job. Just needed it to creat 1 hole. It did that with ease. 35mm perfect for the standard door hinge.
