KYOCERA CP-20-BK Adjustable Peeler, Ceramic, Black

We replaced another Kyocera peeler as after 10 years use it was a little dull ! Tried a steel one which was worse than the old ceramic one. It really is so sharp and lasts a very long time so is great value. Will always stick with this make as it has proven durability and sharpness

The very sharp blade aside, this is the world’s best peeler because if the swivel head. You, rather than the peeler, are in control of how to hold the vegetable and the peeler: others only work one way.

For some reason, the peeler get clogged very easily. Also, it peels very shallowly, and somehow I think extra sharpness of the ceramic blade does not help with the peeling. The blade is thin, so no matter how sharp the blade is you need to apply a certain amount of force to slice through the skin of a vegetable. And since is the blade is sharp, when it starts to slice through the skin of a vegetable it just glides very fast and becomes very difficult to control. I am using Kyocera knives for a long time, and I am happy with them. That's why I wanted to try this peeler but in this case I believe the steel peelers are simply functioning better at a fraction of the cost.

Just what I was looking for. I've had one before and it lasted for a long time. I was desperate to find one the same so was very excited to find this.
