Freud 40-104: 1-11/32" (Dia.) Chamfer Bit

Arrived loose in its "case". The "case" is yellowed thin plastic. Hot wheels cars come un better packaging. This looks like its straight out of the 90s. Disappointed because I keep my bits in their cases when not in use. I will not be able to do that with this one.For the price I would expect it to arrive like every other Freud bit I have purchased in a nice hard plastic case that keeps it secure and make it easy to store.

I mostly use Freud in my wood shop and they’re excellent project after project!

I am rather new to woodworking after having not done very much in a number of years. I'm amazed at the new tools and products that are making it easier to accomplish tasks much faster with better results that the old ways. Freud has always crafted quality tools and this one is no exception. Fast, sharp and easy to use bit. Glad I'm spending the extra cash instead of trying to make an inferior bit work. Will keep buying the Freud bits one or two at a time until I get a complete set together. VERY HAPPY!!

Freud does not disappoint

I've used this once and it's better than most of the router bits I've got. I would definitely but it again.

So far I've routed 60 linear feet of pressure treated pine. It got a bit gummed up from the soft/wet wood, but after a good cleaning with simple green, this thing is back to operating like brand new! Freud is the way to go...

Same great quality your get from Freud without breaking the bank. Made nice clean 45deg cuts on my hardwood cutting board edges. Nice bit to have in the workshop for chamfers, etc.

This thing is a piece of junk. I have a feeling it’s a knockoff but. I have had other Freud bits let me years. This one lasted 10 minutes before the bearing ripped apart and now it’s no good and almost ruined the wood I’m working on.

I had to return it and order another one, and I told my client to wait a few more days because of this, even the second one is not as perfect as it should be, at that price I expect 100% perfection. Freud bits are not as perfect as before. QA Freud? Look at the pictures below.
