Great Book- very poor narration
Really honest heartfelt story of an exceptional talented sportsman - and his struggles. Audio book was very poor with many mis pronunciations- very hard to listen to.

Great book - TERRIBLE narration
Great book - TERRIBLE narration. The narrator should be ashamed of his effort or lack of. No preparation, he just read words, clearly without understanding the context. The audiobook is littered with incorrectly pronounced words, names and places. I stopped listening and bought a hard copy

A very honest account from a sportsman .
This is very honest account from a young talented sportsman. It gives real insight into the pressures and the effect of living in a poor area and dealing with success.

An Exceptional Biography- Sports or otherwise
This book is exceptional. The story, the depth and the honesty it is written with make it particularly compelling. It enters a rarified space for a sporting autobiography in many respects. Earls has a very interesting story to tell but the decision to tell it with the degree openness he has is what makes it. Written by someone who generally avoids sporting autobiography!

The story gave some excellent technical and tactical information that I enjoy top players explaining.
