Good place mat
I bought this, along with several other 'times table' products, to help my daughter who is in Year 2 at school. I bought this to compliment her learning at school, hoping that facing the numbers twice a day at mealtimes may help the sums to work their way into her head. The mat itself is much larger than I was expecting, which is good because it means the numbers are nice and clear. It's sturdy and easy to wipe clean. The times tables themselves run from 1 to 12, with sums from 0 to 12 for each one.

Thoroughly recommended in a family environment
I bught this for my daughter age 6 to help her with her arithmetic - she's not at learning tables stage yet, but now understands the principles . I find it a great aide - and am sure that by simply having it nearby a certain amount of the early principles goes in by a sort of osmosis so that later when she does have to learn tables she won't have to try too hard.I also find it useful for my 4 year old son, who is only interested in playing and certainly at all not interested in reading, writing or arithmetic, but he uses the placemat to count things and so we can do play sums.

A very happy 6 year old!
Stumbled across this and bought as we needed a new place mat for the dinner table. I thought it was pretty expensive for a mat but actually it feels fairly substantial and seems good quality compared to some we have had in the past. My son loves looking at it and frequently announces that he knows what some multiplication fact or other is whilst we are out and about or in another room. It is also fueling his interest in big numbers "I know what 9x90 is..." and it's fun looking for patterns in the numbers too. I now don't think it was expensive for what it is at all!

Great product
My children have had these mats before and loved them. Telling the time and number bonds. It is true that if you try to wipe off dried on food that the ink comes with it. But wiping them down immediately keeps the in good condition for longer. Both children learning times tables at the moment so keeps the tablecloth clean and their minds active!

Happy Little Mathematician!!
My five-year-old son is passionate about maths and numbers, and wanted to learn the multiplication tables. I thought this placemat would be more fun than a poster or a book.It has all the tables up to the twelve times, it is bright and colourful and easy to read, and it washes up well after being spattered with pasta sauce. My son loves it, and scrutinises it all during his dinner.
